    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Sorry about your luck Jim. Matt Lerer from GHI Reptiles and I have talked several times via phone and have talked about you feeding your snakes off the same tongs. I believe you were asking what the chances of spreading it that way was even brought up. Dont worry about it Jim the folks here dont seem to care about someone like you selling snakes to the public that *could* infect and kill collections.

Uh Jim, You sent me pics of the dead snake. That was the ONLY reason I agreed to replace it. I myself have never saw a dead snake act funny. Keep up the good work Jim!
 
You know what Bobby, I think I did feed a couple of my snakes with the same tongs, it was the first time I feed her, I never thought there was a problem with her seeing she came from what I thought was a freind, Matt called me to tell me that his snake had the virus and for me to be very carefull and he asked me if I used the same tongs And I did. that was before I new the danger of Tims snakes so have fun with this remark to you.

You still are lieing about our deal and your lieing about me selling snakes your still a lier.
Now back to the dead snake you sent me , funny how you try and bring up bull crap of other stuff to avoid your wrong doings to me.

Why are they marked SOLD on your website? Im sure you'll run and change it. First you lie about using the same tongs to feed and NOW you finally admit you DID use the SAME tongs to feed. Lies, lies, lies... What else are you lieing about Jim?
Theres noway I can prove you did anything wrong on our snake deal and thats the only reason you got a replacement.
 
The snakes on my website say sold, I do not have to change my website to fit my needs like someone else I know. I traded 7 of my baby emerlads for a basin.

about quarantine

Just a thought. I'm not real familiar with the disease refered to on this thread. My Vet and I set up an Isolation area in the late 80's for a good size group of imported Parrots for future breeding stock. It is not easy to do. We used a seperate buildind with lab coats for each building. We had foot baths, so we didn't carry any possible disease in from our feet. We wore gloves and caps for each room. Each building had its own equipment, so nothing was used from one group to another. Along with that my Vet did blood work,along with gram stains and monitored them for 90 days. Just a few things to consider.

Traded or Sold, you still sent them out of your collection to another person that COULD sell or trade them. Way to go Jim. Everyone here and other forums want to know where all the snakes went that Tim sold/traded so who did you send your emeralds to? I think the people here and others following that thread also need to know who has your animals now.Im glad it only took 3 or 4 pages to actually read what I posted...
 
My snake from Tim is in a diffrent room and has allways been in a diffrent room I made the mistake of useing the same tongs when I feed that night. I really never expected in wrong doings, when the snake came from what I thought was a freind.

I do not feel my snake from Tim has the virus but will not know till I get the lab report back.

I wunder how Ralphs lab work came back from his testing. you would of thought he would have posted it if It came back clean, but know one has said anything about that one.
It seems fishy if Matts was the only one with the virus.
 
Cross contamination

Just a few points on cross contamination.....

I have feeding tongs for import corallus and feeding tongs for LTC or c.b. animals. With the size of some collections it would be a huge hassle to have a set of tongs for every single animal.

Tim Bowles of Arboreals of the rainforest sold Jim an animal that he was told was a solid animal so why should he even consider using different tongs......he shouldn't. Both (two out of two) animals that I recieved from Tim Bowles of Arboreals of the rainforest were in bad shape when they arrived at my home so no feeding attempts were even considered.

If anyone is concerned about Jim using the same tongs.......them what about Tim Bowles of Arboreals of the Rainforest? The animal that I got from him tested positive for the Paramyxo virus......how many sets of tongs do you think he has??? How many animals did he sell before and after the female emerald that I got was was shipped out?

Jim knew about the tong thing before his baby emeralds were born and from what he told me he was meticulous with his animals since he and I discussed it so there is no danger with the babies.
 
Bobby those snakes were never in anywere near Tims snake and had no way of being infected. . I for one have more rooms than just your garage.
And 3 or 4 pgs for me to read what you said, grow up, it has been about 10 months for you to finally admit you owed me the snake replacement so who's thread is larger.

Good one Matt. Dont take the spot light off Jim. Why is it so important to find out where Tims snakes went and not where Jims snakes went??? You both need to do some reading on this virus, because it can be passed from snake to snake very easy.

What about Tim Bowles of Arboreals of the Rainforest????? Shouldn't we find out who everyone is that he sold them to? We never found out what happened to the 6' female baisn. We were promised pics of the animal at it's new owners......is there really a new owner? Is the snake even alive?

Chapman has not posted his results from his animal being tested and it was tested awhile ago so who know what is going on with it. A lot of animals were sold from Arboreals of the Rainforest in the past 6 months or so and nobody has posted that their animal is ok so most likely they do not read the forums. What seems fishy to me at least is how a diehard hobbiest will all of the sudden start selling off his collection and also ask for full payment up front for a $2,500.00 animal.....that one is pretty obvious to me.....now that is.

You need to read a little better.. You ONLY got a replacement because I COULD'NT PROVE you did something wrong. So I was man enough to take the hit and let you drive to my place(so you couldnt claim another doa or a problem) and hand pick your replacement.

LOL could not prove I did something to it, Ya Bobby I killed it because I felt like it. We never had any beafs untill this. I never knew you as a bad guy before then, so it makes lots of sence for me to do something like that. LOL

Dont need anymore points LOL. Go read about the *Bad Guys* on this forum. They dont even give replacements,animals,money, let alone the person to come to there place and hand pick a replacement. Me not trust you doesnt make me a *Badf Guy* Jim!
