I was happy when you initially referred me to Ty. I wasn't upset about anything until the transaction was taking place.
Ty and I had two seperate transactions. The first transaction went great, but the second was a disaster. Like I said earlier, Ty was great to deal with until problems arose, then he showed his true colors.

Now I understand that you are friends with Ty and you want to protect his reputation, but I have no idea what would give you that impression.
During our Yahoo IM conversations all I did was vent to you about how I was dissatisfied about my dealings with Ty and that I couldn't wait until our transaction was over.
Ask Kelli Hammack from HISS about how I felt when the shipment arrived. Kelli was the first person I called after I opened the package and saw the seemingly frozen geckos. I told her how upset I was about the condition the geckos arrived in and I asked her advice on how I should handle the situation.
Perhaps if Kelli happens to read this thread she will post concerning our phone conversation.
I did get SOME nice looking amels from Ty, but that is not the main issue. The problem is that the geckos arrived in poor health.
I would also like to say that Ty was extremely rude when I called him in reference to poor shape the shipment arrived in. He basically told me he didn't want to talk about it at that time, to call him back tomorrow, and then hung the phone up on me.
You started selling them too soon after your deal with Ty to have been selling the offspring.
My first deal with Ty (the successful one) was for a modest group of sub-adults in the fall of '02. That gave me plenty of time to have them breeding during the '03 season.
In all fairness, I did resell some of the extras from our second deal, mostly locally (as I previously stated). I bought a large group of amels from him, and only wanted to keep the best, so I sold off all the "C" grade amels (many at a loss).
The main point I wanted to make is that I'm in NO way affiliated with Ty or Bobby. I also wanted to make it clear that I have never brokered animals for Ty, or anyone else for that matter.
Yes, one escaped, but you saw it, it arrived alive... i wont even go there......
I feel that the shipper should be responsible for properly packing a shipment. I didn't expect to have two fat tails running around in the crumpled newspaper. (This was the second shipment of the deal that went south, the first was the frozen shipment)

Ty initially told Jeanne and Bobby that they were not going to get a dime out of him. He didn't do the right thing because he is a "good guy", It was only after pressure was applied from the BOI that he decided it might be a good idea to try and salvage what little reputation he might have left.
I also want to stress that this whole thread was not about the $15. It was about how poorly Ty Young and Bobby Pruett handled this entire transaction. They showed their true colors when problems arose.
I would like to appologize to everyone if I have been confusing at any point during this thread. I'm not the best at conveying large amounts of information in writing, so hopefully I didn't botch it too badly.
