Bobby,
I DID read the thread just fine. I don't remember anywhere that they contacted Ty before all the problems came up, but I'm also not going to pick and hunt through all 17 or whatever pages of this there are.
As far as the shipping, of course it happened after they ordered smart guy! How can you set up a shipping date with a customer if they HAVEN'T ordered yet? And besides, whether it happened before or after they ordered is irrelevant. You passed them off to Ty when they didn't want to deal with the delays. Again, no matter what or when something terrible happened in Ty's life, you, Bobby Pruett, made the deal with Bobby Lee. YOUR responsibility. Ty had absolutely nothing to do with it. Therefore, he should not have had to deal with YOUR pissed off customer.
And on the fact that I would be A-1 nuclear PISSED if my mother had just passed and I was getting calls from YOUR upset customers, that should be common sense. I mean, am I the ONLY one here that thinks it is pretty damn crass to pass off a pissed off customer on someone who is not only your supplier and has no hand in what deals you've made, but is also grieving over the loss of his mother?
The bottom line Bobby, is that you pushed an angry customer of YOURS off onto your supplier, who had no hand in the deal or business dealing with them. That is just plain bad business man. Ty had to arrange the refund with Bobby Lee because you didn't want to deal with it. Ty did the right thing, in my opinion, by originally telling Bobby Lee to deal with YOU. After all, it was YOUR ad and YOUR deal, not his. I find it odd that such an excellent business man cannot get this simple fact through his skull.
