Bobby is just trying to get under your skin Veronica.

He doesn't seem to understand that just because our geckos have similair gene pools it doesn't make them the same geckos. Bobby resells fat tails for his partner Ty and takes a percentage of the sale... I breed my own.

A lot more than having similair genetics goes into producing and selling quality geckos. They actually need to be well taken care of.

And a lot more goes into a sale than Bobby realizes... I don't treat my customers like cr*p and scream profanities at them.

A seller actually needs to take good care of their customers. When someone buys any herp from me they turn into my boss. It's my job to make them happy and that's what I do.

Also, Bobby doesn't seem to understand that only SOME of my stock originally came from Ty.

Another thing that strikes me as odd about Bobby is that he wants HANDGUNS for trades. It just seems a bit odd to me that someone will accept a handgun in exchange for a fat tail...

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with gun ownership... but it seems strange to entertain the thought of trading geckos for handguns.

And after we have all seen Bobby's self proclaimed "hot headed" temper, it would worry me to run into this guy at a show.

You're right about the gun remarks... that didn't really belong here. I appologize for making that comment, it was a bit childish on my part.

Why do you think you know me so well Bobby? I've never even communicated with you, but you and your buddies seem to think you know all the details of my business.

I already made it clear that I sold off some of the geckos I got from Ty, with most going to a local pet shop... what is wrong with that? I only wanted to work with a modest group of A grade amels. I kept what I wanted and sold off the sub par animals.

As far as my online sales... I have a group of sub adults from Fall of '02 and they produced in '03 for me. Easy as that.

And about the leopard geckos... I have NEVER purchased a leopard gecko from you or Ty. So that is simply a blatant lie on your part. Ty doesn't even have any high end leopard geckos; at least he didn't when I dealt with him.

I sure didn't turn any geckos loose Bobby... Ty did a horrible job packing. One shipment arrived almost frozen and another with two geckos running around in the newspaper. I didn't package the boxes Bobby.

When I brought it up to Ty he said he would take care of it, but once I sent him my money he quickly changed his tune. Simple as that.

Once again I appologize to everyone for the bringing your trade section into this thread... it didn't belong here.

And just for the record. Ty never stopped selling to me, we completed our deal and that was it. He actually wanted me to broker for him, but I didn't want to deal with him any longer. You can say whatever you like, but that is what happened.

I think I'm just about done with this thread. It's been made clear that you are a bad guy Bobby, so I really don't have any need to argue with you. It's pretty pointless.

If you feel the need to get in the last word (or last fabrication I should say), it's all yours.

I just thought to be fair to Ty and bobby, since everyone is posting pics of fattails. This one was purchased last year from Bobby, produced by Ty. I have since gotten out of the species, but this animal went to Albey. I think we all know who that is.

Here is a photo so you can see the difference between an orange phase and a normal when they are juvies. As they age the one on the righ will look more brown with black bands. Just because its a bit orange as a baby doesnt make it an orange phase. They get darker as adults. They will look more of a burnt orange as some have said or just a dark brown.
As you can see bobbys so called orange phase looks like the one on the right in this photo. I would bet as it ages its brown with black bands and just your normal african fat tail.

You and I know fat tails. He just takes a photo and plays with the contrast and brightness to come up with his so called orange fat tails.
You can tell by the blue gravel hes using that hes mess with it also its gotten grainy and out of focus. Being a professional photographer I can spot an edited photo a mile away.

MikeC the photo you posted is obviously an orange amelanistic. What bobby is doing is trying to pawn off a normal fat tail as an orange phase. Which can get much more than if it was just sold as a normal. Normals start around 25 dollars give or take. I've sold orange phase fat tails for starting at 75 each to 175 depending on if it was also a het for amel. or if it had a stripe. Stripes always brought in more.

oops forgot the photo i wanted to post.
animal on left is a stripe orange phase... one on the right is a normal. it appears to be orange phase and looks allot like the one bobby is posting but its not. They can start as having a nice orange about 6 or 8 weeks of age but then after 4 or 5 months start to turn darker. By the time its an adult it will be brown with black bands. Thus a normal aft. The photo i posted of my banner with my stripe orange phase is well over a year old in that photo and gets more and more orange with every shed. He keeps his orange color all of the time. Just before he sheds he looks red. But he is a true orange phase. Not a normal at all.

I won't get into the duscussion about what phase the geckos are, but I've seen Bobby's geckos in person and they were all healthy and looked pretty good to me. I have 4 leopard geckos and have had AFTs in the past. Bobby doesn't sell sick animals. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

He sent a sick $10,000 or $15,000 dollar snake that he had to refund the money on just this year and he sent me a DOA this year.

So I would watch how you stick up for your freind LOL

He is by not listening to your lies Jim. You better check the snow boa deal out before you start running your mouth. You might find a few that say I was the bad guy in that deal but since the deal is done and over I proved it was me that got ripped off in that deal. I (unlike you) have admitted when I was wrong and made things right EVERY time.

1) snow boa deal- traded back and since I was short one silverback boa I replaced it with a female albino boa.

2) The snakes I sent to Ken- I admited that I could have pack them better. I took the total hit on that one.

3)The latest 3% paypal joke. The guy got his refund + his 3%. Took a mistake and blew it up here.


How about you Jim? Hows the snake you are so concerned with about being infected with the virus you bought from Tim B.? You admited you used the same tongs to feed all your snakes. That could spead it to your entire collection. You posted snakes forsale and pulled the ads when people stated you were wrong for selling snakes before any testing had been done. Now you claim to have sold 4 out of the 5 snakes you had listed. Did the buyers know about the details? You still havent got the test done but you are still selling animals.

If the above 3 things is all people can say im a bad guy over on this forum, then im doing a lot better then most!

Yes it is pointless to call me a bad guy. Up until I was ripped off on the snow boa deal that I made right I no longer gave the things posted on this forum any credit. You people(10 or so) that live on here can post your hearts out about me. Keep thinking this site is doing the reptile trade good, it seems to make you feel better about life. Ross you still avoided answering the question of how many of those geckos did you sell as YOUR stock and NOT Tys? Out of all the geckos Ty sent to you there is no way pet stores can move that many...

You try to make it look like O it moved or O its dead I must have done something to it, I never new you was a bad guy till our deal and it does not matter if the snake was dead on arival or 6 hours later as you try to make it look like it still is dead. then you try and replace it after extensive work from me to recieve a replacement then you give me a snake you had listed for $500 then you come here and try to make it look like you gave me a snake that was worth $1000 then it was posted on the corralus and ashown it was not wjhat you said it was ( a hypo) so it may have been worth $350.

if he had the snake and you have been to his house then you have been exposed unless of course yall both knew he told you, you bathed in bleech took your cloths to the trash before entering your house... but wait that doesnt incluse what could have contaminated the inside of your vehicle and then kept passing it back and fourth to all your animals..........


this situation is completely ficticious of course but it could happen.... this is the way diseases spread
