Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Bad Experience with Carson Phelps of Herps Etc

One of the folks in the past threads summed up my feelings exactly...
a "reptile hustler".

Willing to say just about anything for his own benefit and make a sale. The best one was his ex-girlfriend explaining how he was cheating on her. I couldn't even make this stuff up if I tried!
 
If Carson or Paige could post the name of the lawyer who sent the letter to "Steve Miles", it woulf make a search much easier for people here who are savvy to detective type work and might get Carson's money back. Whatdya say Carson? Three grand in your pocket? Rock and roll!

Mike - I appreciate everyone's help but like I said we don't need to call names because it is not productive. I would like to know what EXACTLY which claim Carson is now saying we had a verbal disagreement on in the past. Since all of our phone conversations never had any mention of a misunderstanding.
 
Carson. In light of Paige's post quoting several of my abrasive comments, I publicly apologize for the derogatory comments such as "braincell" etc. That being said, I do have one question for you that simply requires a yes or no answer. Is it your contention that Guy only wanted snakes and NEVER asked for a refund before starting this thread?

Better than trying to assure our friends, fellow herp lovers, and buyers and sellers in general they will hopefully have safer transaction experiences because of the collective wisdom and information gathered here?
Sometimes there are a lot of questions, yes. But it is amazing how often the truth comes out in the wash, and how valuable it is for future buyers/sellers to see how questions here are handled by the respective parties.

So I will ask what has not been asked straightforwardly...Can either party involved directly in this thread PROVIDE PROOF to determine which is being deceptive? POST IT!

I'll keep an eye out for yours. In any case, you are only posting here because I am...obviously. you have contributed squat here except to amplify your disdain for for me. Chris- Let me help out a bit with some of the facts about you; You have been a member here since 2003 (10 yrs.), you have a trader rating of (0), your last add on here was posted (8) years ago and you have a total of (1) friend. Buddy, those are some pretty shotty statistics for someone who rambles off as much as you...It's obviously not getting you very far in the herp world! Keep stiffing for my Rat and please tell us all when you can find it! :thumbsup:

I agree in the BOI system. It is very helpful as many have previously stated. You my friend have taken this thread a bit too far! A refund was due, 100% of what the OP requested was paid. If Carson throws him a few animals to make up for his troubles then that will be great. Case Closed! You have done your part...Move on! Still miffed that I was VERY iinstrumental in exposing two SCAMMERS that you went to bat for almost what, ten years ago? I get it. I have asked questions regarding, and directly related to, this transaction. Have you? No. Your agenda here is obvious. Temper, temper Jason. I will not do this "via PM. That's what people do when they have something to hide. Lastly, your desperate solicitation for people to think of me as a hidious monster due to my trader rating or my "last ad" Is reaching. Oh, and the statement about me having one friend is more shallow and childish than anything your pal Carson has said here. That's truly sad.
