Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Perhaps you didn't get that this is a business forum. Unlike many places on the internet, we use our real names here.
What happened on this thread was not a victimless issue. Guy was out $3,000 for years.
You made yourself right at home. You escalated your arguments. Then you threw some insults at Chris, who has spent time and effort on this thread and asked some very good questions.
But the final straw is your attempt to put blame on the victim himself. He has been more than patient, and you took that patience and turned it around, putting him down for not getting writings.
Getting things in writing is always good, and that is good advice, but that isn't the way it was done, it appears as if it was done to put Guy down.

Again, this is not one of those cloistered anonymous internet sites where you can insult people, blame victims, etc. all in the comfort of anonymity. Your last little 'Steve Miles' escapade was unethical, for those who have not yet read the thread:

Carson, I created the Steve Miles thread because you wouldn't give information, other than Steve Miles stole $3,000 from you. I was hoping that someone could come forward with more information, to help the community, and to keep others from getting screwed over too. I am glad you can afford to write it off. Many of us could not. His name still needs to be out there.

I know you could care less. You watched as Paige TRIED to defend you and you loved every minute of it. Now you'll what? Turn your back on your friend? Had she not been caught, you wouldn't think it pointless and you know it. Two peas in a pod, yes? That was an easy stunt to caught here. Lucky for you, you didn't beat her to it.

Why are you so insistent that the thread end and everyone be quiet?

You yourself have been asked twice to provide "proof" for your "definitive" statement about Guy never asking for a refund (post #294). Twice you have been silent with nothing. If you are going to jump on others for "no info", then perhaps you should stop as well.

All anyone has to do is check out previous posts/threads by "burmbreeder5"/ Laurie Davidson or Artie Davidson to see she (they) are trolls and attention-seekers.

If you ignore "it", "it" will go away .... as "it" has in the past, when called out and found to be less than truthful or truly respected in the industry/hobby.

Hi Carson, I can understand why you want to let this go after so long, and as you say, you have come to terms with losing the money to "Steve Miles" and you dont care to dig him up or track him down.

Unfortunately, to the rest of us, it looks like avoidance, and naturally a lot of people will jump to the conclusion that he doesnt exist and that in fact you are the scammer. If Steve Miles is real, why would you allow him to hurt your reputation by not offering any evidence you have that he exists?
 
With over 24,000 views, some damage has been done...And I believe it is rightfully so because without the BOI, this would have never been resolved..I would show up on a doorstep over $3,000...Carson claims that Guy is lying and never asked for a refund..Doubtful..And of Carson wanted this done, he would have said, "I don't care what you want, take you're money back", and ended it the right way a long time ago...

I'd say no damage has been done...at the rate Carson sells animals at half price, he'll be fine.Too many people see just price tags over anything else. I've been tempted to pull the trigger and buy from Carson...

I have, too, at times...but I have a fairly good memory, and I remember the old threads about him. It's kept me from purchasing all these years, and I doubt I'm the only one. I agree that he'll continue to do business because of his pricing; but, this thread - like the old ones - will lose him some customers.
