I like shiny things......
This will be my first ever 'bad guy' post on the BOI, but I can't excuse the condition of the animal that I received...nor the fact that I am being completely ignored by this person now. 
I responded (last November) to an ad on a different forum for a '02 blue might(her spelling) phase chondro' Here is the link to the ad:
Original Ad There is a link to the pictures of him on her KS account.
We agreed on a price of 3500 + shipping for the animal, and she accepted a 1500 down payment with the rest to be paid at 500 every 2 weeks until paid off. Everything was paid on time with the exception of the last payment (I had to pay 250 that week and 250 the next). I contacted her about this before the payment was due, and sent her 350 for the last payment instead of 250. I have ALL of my paypal id numbers if anyone is interested in them.
The first payment was made on Nov 29th, 2005 and the last was on Feb 1, 2006.
Now, it comes to shipping.....As I said, the last payment was on 2/1. We both agreed that it was too cold to ship, and I was more than happy to wait until early spring for the animal's sake.
I have about 54 e-mails between us, and can send them or post them if you guys think it necessary. I start asking in March, when she can ship...(please note the dates in the e-mails--hers are teal). First, it's too cold...then he just ate...then it's too hot...

Hello, I'm sorry for the delay, the weather has been very dramatic the last month, I also wasnt aware that my husband didn't email you 2 weeks ago when I asked him to. Surely the animal you sent me is not the same healthy, robust, around 400gm animal that I paid (a HELL of alot of money) for????????
This poor creature is half-dead????? HOW CAN THIS BE???? He is underweight/emaciated, dehydrated and has (more than one) shed stuck all over him. His poor skin is sagging on him???
I can send you pictures, but YOU JUST SENT HIM--YOU KNOW WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE!!!! I can't even get decent movement out of him. How long has MY animal been this ill??
I am trying to soak him to remove some of this caked-on shed, but he keeps drinking the water....
I am speechless, at a loss, heartbroken, and very upset. His sister just produced a clutch!!! This poor thing (if he lives, which I doubt) will not be able to be bred for AT LEAST a year OR MORE!!! I have kept 2 females WAITING on him...Do you understand???
I WOULD NEVER PAY 3500 + shipping for an animal in such condition??>>?? Would YOU??
Michelle, in 10+ years of reptile keeping, I have never seen an animal in such shape--let alone a designer 3.5K animal. I have seen WC look better. This has honestly been the worst on-line transaction that I have ever had....the wait to ship (there were promises of earlier shipping--but I was patient)....I am so crestfallen. Hopefully it can be resolved.
I will not ask for a full refund, and I will not post pictures of this poor animal or details of this transaction--yet. I do believe, however, that a partial refund is in order.

Angelina, I received your email and was quit surprised at how bad you say he is, when he just left my side. I know last month was hot and I mentioned he was having a tough shed, but he has never shown ANY signs of illness. He eats and sheds regularly and if we had ever seen anything out of the ordinary we wouldnt have sent him at all. We also just soaked him before we sent him so I don't see how he can have layers of skin that still needs to be shed. He had layers of skin stuck on him...I soaked him for several hours and MANUALLY shed him, so I know how many dead layers of skin came off. I am more than willing to pull it out of the garbage and take pictures for you if you want. He was completely placid while I did this--didn't try to get away/bite/move or anything. I have about 30 chondros. If I were to try to manually shed any one of them, I'd have to have 2 people...AND gloves. He barely moved.
You say he ate regularly?? Please explain the fact that he weighs about the same as one of my YEARLINGS... Look at the picture with my thumb and forefinger on his neck....My frigging THUMB is bigger than him!!! Can you also explain the sagging skin where there should be muscle? Point in fact...I picked up an 18 month old today as well that is DOUBLE his size. I have males the same age as he that are 4 and 5 times his weight. You can't honestly tell me that you think he is supposed to be that small??
You have not addressed my request for a partial refund. I am more that willing to take these pictures and all of our e-mail correspondence and my paypal receipts to the BOI and have an impartial panel review his condition. You decide.
I have already sent these pictures to a few of my 'chondro friends', and they are just as appalled as I.

I WOULD NEVER PAY 3500 + shipping for an animal in such condition??>>?? Would YOU??
Michelle, in 10+ years of reptile keeping, I have never seen an animal in such shape--let alone a designer 3.5K animal. I have seen WC look better. This has honestly been the worst on-line transaction that I have ever had....the wait to ship (there were promises of earlier shipping--but I was patient)....I am so crestfallen. Hopefully it can be resolved.
I will not ask for a full refund, and I will not post pictures of this poor animal or details of this transaction--yet. I do believe, however, that a partial refund is in order.
Let me know your thoughts...

Angelina, I received your email and was quit surprised at how bad you say he is, when he just left my side. I know last month was hot and I mentioned he was having a tough shed, but he has never shown ANY signs of illness. He eats and sheds regularly and if we had ever seen anything out of the ordinary we wouldnt have sent him at all. We also just soaked him before we sent him so I don't see how he can have layers of skin that still needs to be shed. Let us know how he takes to his new habitat and keep us informed on how he is doing. thanks, Michelle

He had layers of skin stuck on him...I soaked him for several hours and MANUALLY shed him, so I know how many dead layers of skin came off. I am more than willing to pull it out of the garbage and take pictures for you if you want. He was completely placid while I did this--didn't try to get away/bite/move or anything. I have about 30 chondros. If I were to try to manually shed any one of them, I'd have to have 2 people...AND gloves. He barely moved.
You say he ate regularly?? Please explain the fact that he weighs about the same as one of my YEARLINGS... Look at the picture with my thumb and forefinger on his neck....My frigging THUMB is bigger than him!!! Can you also explain the sagging skin where there should be muscle? Point in fact...I picked up an 18 month old today as well that is DOUBLE his size. I have males the same age as he that are 4 and 5 times his weight. You can't honestly tell me that you think he is supposed to be that small??
You have not addressed my request for a partial refund. I am more that willing to take these pictures and all of our e-mail correspondence and my paypal receipts to the BOI and have an impartial panel review his condition. You decide.
I have already sent these pictures to a few of my 'chondro friends', and they are just as appalled as I.

It has been nearly 2 weeks since I requested a PARTIAL refund (let's be fair) on the underweight/unbreedable animal you sent me--I have yet to hear back from you? I am waiting, and will not take this to the BOI or any other parties until I hear from you.

I believe that you have had ample time to review the e-mails I have sent you, and decide on the partial refund as I had requested. Since I have not heard back from you, I can only assume that you are ignoring me??

Notably, it is way too late to file a dispute with paypal, and to be honest...It's really not about the money. I did ask her for a partial refund, considering his condition, and the fact that he is pretty much useless to me (as a breeder) for the next year or more. Needless to say, I have not heard back from her.
