    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Bad grammer, bad buy?

The people I've dealt with in the past that have had bad grammer and typing were the ones that ripped me off. I'm not talking about your normal, everyday mistakes. I mean typing like that Jesse Underhill guy.   <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>  
An example would be a man I bought a turtle from who was swearing a lot and had very little patience. He had a lot of great reviews and I could pick no other faults than that. The turtle I received was not the same we had agreed upon and he refused to refund my money or do any exchanges. Has anyone done business with someone who seemed very unintelligent and received the high quality animals they were looking for? The few people I've talked to have told me that if a person seems shadey, I should stay away. I NoTICED THE POST AND HAD TO REPLY...i just got started here on fauna, and i have horrible grammar, i would never be dishonest in ANY sale, be it herps, or cars or rocks...lol..the problem i have is it takes me about 5 mins to type something like this, and by the time im done, im to frustrated to go back and change my errors....i prefer to finalize all deals on the phone, to clear up any questions...therefor i dont believe that just because one has bad grammar, that he would be a bad person to deal with....another thing... THANK YOU ALL FOR THE ADVISE ABOUT THIS UNDERHILL GUY...I WAS MINUATES AWAY FROM BUYING HET BALLS FROM HIM...THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE PREVENTION OF MY BECOMING BROKE....
 
I have a friend who is a super cool and honest guy.
He has a bachelor's of scince degree in some hard stuff and is working on his masters.
But he is definately not the greatest speller in the world....but then again neither am I

Candice, I understand what you are trying to say, and you are partially correct.  There is, however, a difference between typos, expedience and ignorance.  If someone posts with what is obviously a lack of class or education, it would be wise to use this discrepancy as a possible indicator of youth or unfamiliarty with the English language.  Nothing wrong with being young or bi-lingual understand. As far as poor grammar goes, forget it, we all sucome to the lure of fast typing and coloqual grammar.  I myself am guilty of poor spelling, typos and playing loose with a sentence, and my worst fault, I am told, is that I am a "Dirty Old Man"! <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>
