I wish i knew about fauna before i bought from this guy
On March 19, I purchased flexwatt heat tape and clips from Matt. I thought everything was great as he assured me the heat tape would be sent out next day, and i would get it quickly. A week and a half go by and i write him asking where it is as i have 20 leos coming in and i needed the heat tape.
Matt responds that i will have it on the Wednesday before good Friday. Thursday comes and no package. I email Matt asking about it, and i get no response, i emailed again a few days later, and no response. I told him that if i didn't hear an answer i would report it to paypal. He then responds saying that international packages can take up to 30 days and that it will arrive on time. I'm a little steamed at this point, but I'm being nice and patient. At this time, a friend in the reptile community tells me about fauna and says to look at the info about Matt. and then tells me his horror story with Matt. So i one more time email Matt and say that a 30 day shipping is BS from where he lives and i want a tracking number for the product or a copy of the bill scanned and emailed to me as proof of him sending it as I have read the replies on Fauna and a friend told me how he was banned from Fauna for how he treated someone by the name of Kelli H.
his response is as follows
I have already refunded you you dumb fuck.. Email me again and I will add your dumbass to the suit.. And as far as Kelli she is a piece of shit and so is her entire family..
So obviously he was lying the whole time he told me he shipped the product, because if he had shipped, he wouldn't have refunded my money when i demanded it. And what the heck is this talk of a suit if i email him. Thats a suit that would get thrown out pretty fast when its told your a cheat. And how childish to say things like that about someone. Oh but the story gets better.
I went to my paypal account to verify the refund, but he only refunded 200 of my 236 dollars I gave him.
So I write him back and demanded my money back, and chastised him for the language, I may not know Kelli H, but Ive heard shes a nice person and i dont want to hear that kind of language about anyone.
Matt writes back stating that he looked at his records and that he shipped the clips but not the flexwatt.
2 things
1) why send the clips without the heat tape, talk about useless
2) I never authorized him to keep my money, i have reported him to paypal, and am fighting to get my money back, dont make the mistake i did, stay away from this guy, he is a lier. I have all his emails of proof hes a lier.

Shipping can take up to 30 days and sometime longer. We use this method as it is the most reliable.. We used express for a time and even though it is more expensive items were being routed to other countries for no good reason..
