Honest? Are you kidding? He has been shown many times to be a liar in multiple threads. He has a long track history of telling his customers one thing and doing the exact opposite and that's if he even returns calls or emails after he has taken their money.

Heck, he even lied about sending money to the Hayden fund and had the complete gall to ask for a refund. That would have been theft, plain and simple if Kelli had taken his word for it and sent the money. (Kelli posted on her site she found no record or emails showing he sent her any amount of money. Additionally, she had no record of anyone sending exactly $200.00.)

i stand corrected was just going buy my dealings. so my mistake some1 please slap me now lol. got a buddy havng issues with a dead snow delivery u guys might be able to help. sry again

All of the banner ads as well as the highlighted text ads at the top of the screen and the text boxes in the right hand margin, are paid ads that are handled exclusively through my http://www.FaunaAds.com front end for handling that advertising function. I do not preview these ads beforehand, and in nearly all cases, you will likely see them before I do. As such, unless someone puts up something especially offensive, or a completely inappropriate ad, I am not inclined to do anything about it.

The banner ad(s) you reference is/are obviously an attempt by the advertiser to promote his own website. I suppose there are many avenues available in order to accomplish that goal, and this member chose that particular one here. So, more power to him........

I don't look at it as a thread "against" anyone.

It IS a thread for folks who have chosen NOT to purchase reptile-related supplies from MG Reptiles for whatever reason to share their experiences.

Matt has made some despicable statements about some really decent people in our hobby including the likes of Sammy Gregg and Kelli Hammack. I'm giving our members and anyone who cares to participate an outlet for release in a forum that is somewhat less serious than the BOI.

I'm not telling people where to purchase their supplies nor am I suggesting anyone engage in a boycott. I couldn't care less where you buy your supplies as long as YOU are satisfied. Everyone who reads the available information is free to draw any conclusion they deem fit and make there purchasing CHOICE accordingly.

My service from MG Reptiles was decent - I've chosen not to do business with him based upon the experience of others who have come forward as well as his poor behavior toward others on this and other forums.

I am one who initially defended Matt based upon my own experiences and on my opinion of who I thought he was as a human being. I've said it before and I will reiterate it now - I cannot nor will I defend his actions or his beahvior as chronicled in the numerous threads on this and other sites.

And no - the banner DOES NOT belong to ball-pythons.net - it is for my site www.BallPythonForum.com (if you clicked it that should be fairly apparent).

Rich is one of the few guys out there who lets other forums participate in his ad system (thanks Rich ). If you don't like the banner don't blame it on Rich or Fauna.

Scott Ashton----I acknowledged my mistake when I wrote ball-pythons.net, a page back I think, and yes I did click on it, again my mistake. I have no opinion either way about the AD I was SIMPLY asking why the AD was there, since there are quite a few threads already established. Simple inquiry, that's all it was. Who said or implied I was blaming anyone?

Yeah , 99% of what was said was absolutely false... sure ....its a nationwide conspiracy ( could be worldwide soon ) , 99% of what he said must be false too ..... sure ..... it was the experiment talking. I wonder what he calls refusing a refund to be?

And apparently i sent matt vulgar e-mails, and he's telling paypal thats why he didnt respond. still claiming to them the package was shipped as well. like i said though, it will be going right back to him and il get my refund either through paypal or my CC company.


Maybe a few more of you could send him an e-mail saying you wont buy from him after what you read. He said he only needs 5 people to do that and then he's really going to start a lawsuit. for real this time. he isnt playing.....

All PayPal would have to do is look at these threads to determine if the claim is valid.

When I went to PayPal and filed a claim, he flipped out on my in a email, then he claimed that he had shiped it and that I had gotten it. In both cases were a lie. When they asked for proof of shipment.. he found or made up a tracking # that was sent to Baltimore WITHOUT listing a address with the USPS and gave that to PayPal. That was "enough proof" to PayPal to say "yup, you received the package" and they closed out my claim. I called them up and was fighting with them for a few months. They called collections on me and everything because I refused to pay for something I never received, nor was never even sent out to me in the first place.

Justin I hope Matt doesn't pull that one on you like he did me a year ago!!!

It seems like it shouldn't be too difficult to actually track the alleged shipment an verify that it was shipped and delivered to your address. Can the shipping company help you with that information?

just thought i'd throw in that while ive read some awful things here and it take three weeks to send the simple shipment that i did in fact get it. in the future i'll be using the bean farm as they are fast, local and great people from my experience. i hope the rest of you can resolve your issues as i know i got very nervous when things got a bit drawn out. by the sounds of it i'm one of a lucky few.

let me add personally i found it far more difficult to read through these threads with tons of uninvolved people tossing in their opinions even when i really wanted to know what was going on. i just kept thinking if someone from paypal were to try looking here for any kind of proof they'd quickly tired of reading through so many responses. i guess it's easier for me to say all this as never known matt(or any of you i guess)so my emotional involvement ends with my pocketbook. good luck guys!

well, the package finally showed up today in a beaten up USPS box (9 days for a 2-3 day priority package!!). paypal is supposed to re-open the claim to me today, and ill let them know i want a full refund and will be sending the package back since matt broke his own TOS and even shipped the package after i told him to cancel my order. if they dont feel like crediting my account, my CC company will have no problem doing so.

ill post what the outcome is, when everything has been taken care of.

No. unfortunately they dont stamp prepaid shipping label packages like that, so the only date on it was from the night he printed off the shipping label (mar 12). still though, it shouldnt have taken 9 days to ship usps priority (2-3 day), even if they "were taking a little longer" like matt claimed.
