In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Get a grip man. There are plenty of legitimate reasons to go after Matt. But to harp on him over him telling people up front it may take that long is just being stupid.

From the post, I can't tell exactly what the poster was trying to convey. He quoted Matt's shipping terms then asked why shipping is slow.
It could be he is asking why Matt states that it will take only up to 7 days to ship the items mentioned but it actually takes weeks or months in many of the situations such as the person that started this thread finds himself in.
I don't think that is being up-front.

On the other hand, if he is just complaining about a seven day wait, the post doesn't hold water. If the people posting their experiences received what they ordered within seven days, along with friendly responses there would be no bad guy posts here.

Good point Dennis. I may have read that wrong. I read it as Paul knit picking Matt's TOS. If I did then my apologies to Paul for the misunderstanding...... if I read it right then my original points still stands. Get a grip.

I agree! Matt obviously has problems, but now it's getting to a point where people are just jumping on the "lets bash Matt for fun bandwagon"
Traci,
The last few bad guy threads/posts came a day apart. One every week or two prior with Matt responding to his customers with disdain. I don’t see people on a bandwagon of fun. It’s sad. Really it is. I don’t understand why each customer seeking service is meet with the same type of bitterness as Justin has received. “your business is no longer wanted!”

Even if that one post was a post as described, stating that this is a bandwagon for fun with over 50, Yes, I stated over 50 complaints on several forums of people being treated in the same manner with their orders.

That statement really does injustice to their complaints.

I meant to hit spellcheck but hit submit. The last line in that statement would have been.. In green above.

Dennis,

I think the only post in question is the one Paul made. I think Traci and I both read it as jumping on the bandwagon by knit picking his TOS. Although after your previous post, I do believe we may have misunderstood his intent.

I dont think Traci was referring to any other posts but Pauls. And I KNOW I wasnt referring to any other posts. Matt has proven himself to be a bad guy and a person to stay away from. A fraud on many levels.

This is just hilarious..lol.. Please by all means continue. It is really sad.. And hey Sammy I am VERY glad you decided to call me a fraud in public without proof other then what you heard.. Awsome..

Looks like another legal threat to me. Whats that bring the total number of people being sued to? Wait...Its probably less time consuming to provide a list of people NOT being sued. :ack2:

You might want to get a real lawyer to acquaint you with the law. Calling you a fraud doesn't violate a single law. I invite you to peruse the list of legal cases charging libel in regards to comments on Internet forums/message boards. I can guarantee you will find that you don't have a legal leg to stand on.

I don't think it's hilarious Matt, when half the people that gave you a positive rating on this site state they will never do business with you again. Another 50 or more state they have had a bad transaction.

You would think you would have apologized to Justin for the delay as well as others.
Instead you still shipped his canceled order and told him not to come back. Doesn't stand, with any reasonable service.

I wasnt really reading his TOS corectly. I remember seeing somthing that said Orders should take around to weeks to ship, but thats either gone or was never there. Sorry about the trouble

Yes that is how I was reading it as well, I also apologize if I misunderstood.

I was referring to that one, as well as a thread recently started by someone linking to another forum where there was a situation described that was already posted here on the BOI (looks like it may have been deleted from here in the meantime)

Matt,

I was never your enemy. Still aint. I was a customer who had two back to back bad transactions with you and quit ordering from you. Both orders were taking too long to ship on top of you shipping the wrong item. In both incidences I emailed you and very politely told you about it. I never said or felt you wronged me in any way.

In fact, I never started a BOI thread about either incident. It was not that big of a deal. An isolated situation for all I knew at that time. But when more and more people kept starting threads about the same issues, I then felt it was only right to share the fact I too had 2 unsatisfactory orders from you. It was no longer an isolated situation. I think people had a right to know the truth.

At no time in these threads did I do anything more than say, "yes I too have had 2 bad transactions with Matt". I told the truth about two transactions and voiced my disappointment in your actions. Not once did I make you out to be a horrible human being or a monster. I honestly didnt realize that telling the truth and prodding you to raise the bar a bit would make me out to be an enemy in your eyes Matt.

Personally, people who are being honest and prod me to do better I consider a valued friend.

Justin,

Has the package that Matt allegedly shipped to you on the 11th actually arrived. If and when it does arrive, and before you send it back unopened, take a photo of the postmark.

No i haven't received it yet. USPS tracking number still only shows "Electronic Shipping Info Received".

So Matt, have you just lied about this yet again? If i do not receive it by monday, i wil be filing a claim with paypal, then move beyond them to the credit card company if necessary (call it fraud all you want, but since in reality it isn't, that's how it's going to go down).

When you get that information regarding a tracking number, it means that the shipping label has been created online but has not actually been dropped off and shipped. Once it is actually dropped off and scanned, it updates to in-transit.

Doesn't sound like he has actually shipped yet but he has paid for and created a shipping label.

Matt what is your major malfunction I don't understand how you can keep on like you are ..Its been years now that I have dealt with you and I thought I would give you a second chance ..Noway no how...You have lost it Man .Can I ask what that dog did to your eye you sure can read OK?

Well if you must know Matt, I think you lie to your customers and about your customers. I think you have lied in many of your posts. I think that has been well documented on the BOI for the last 6 months between the emails that have been posted and by your own posts. That is fraudulent behavior in my book.

And the way you run around tooting your Christianity horn left and right, but your actions and words have been far far from anything that I would call a good Christian. Again, fraudulent behavior in my book.

So yeah Matt, to put it all right out there on the table and leaving all niceties by the way side, I think you are a fraud. Not just in business but in life itself.

I have had issues several times with the status of a USPS tracking number never coming up as anything but "shipping info received", until after it has been delivered. Why, I don't know....but it has happened to me on more than one occasion. In fact, I actually jumped a guy I bought from on Ebay about it, wondering why it hadn't actually shipped yet....and the package arrived that same afternoon. Thank goodness the guy understood, because I felt like a complete jerk.

My whole point is just that it doesn't always update, for whatever reason, I blame it on the laziness/inaccuracy of USPS. :shrug01:

Cat isn't far off with what she calls lazyness of USPS on the "Info Received".

I use click and ship for online generation of my postage. When I purchase my postage the tracking number is generated and sent to USPS. At this point all I have done is bought the postage, I may not have scheduled the shipment I can within 30 days get a refund, so someone a little less than
honest[/B] can use this to put off the inquiry of a buyer. Now as to why it doesnt update.

Normally you just have the package picked up or drop it off at the PO. If the clerk scans the barcode it will show in transit, if they don't then the info will stay the same until scanned. Since all this type of shipping has a delivery confirmation the Post Office must scan it for that delivery. So in many cases the only scan that actual gets done is at delivery. This is a lot of reason why people don't like USPS for quaranteed shipping. Hope the info helps.
