    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I mean this in complete sincerity, but someone should really contact his pastor and let him know that this guy is teetering on the edge of sanity... a pastor of all people would know who to contact in his area...
 
Well I finally received my order from Matt on April 27/07. So a good 1 1/2 months after my order with him.

The shipment wasn't complete, he didn't provide me with the 4" heat tape. He emailed me the other day and told me that he'd ship out the 4" heat tape whenever he gets more in stock. LOL! ahhh...I think not...I want what I ordered now!

What's even more funny is that he declared the FULL value of my order with him for customs. So customs charged me for items that I have not even received yet (4" heat tape)!!! It's so much fun paying duty charges on products you never received.

Matt if you're reading this, you've blocked my email so unfortunately I can't write you and tell you how to run your "business" properly. Anyway, when the 4" heat tape comes in, I want is ASAP, and don't put a declared value on it, as you already did on this one! I'm not paying double the duty fees.

Absolutely a great piece of advice. He's made a lot of racist remarks that I dont think that pastor will be very happy about.

It would appear Matt is preparing to launch a sister site that caters to bird enthusiasts. It doesnt look like the site is quite ready to launch, but should it...people who do not know how to identify who the owner is off webistes should know its owned by the same Matty Greybeal of MGReptiles.

Report him to Canadian customs and to US Customs. When he signed the declaration form, it states under penalty of perjury that the information he provided was correct. Since he left out items, he lied. I seriously doubt they will do anything, but atleast it creates a paper trail. Enough complaints will get someone's attention.
 
My charge back from the credit card company went through with no hassle. So 310.94 refunded to me. After overwhelming them with copies of info from BOI posts and my evidence they acted real quick.
 
I have to laugh! Three or four years ago, I had this exact problem with Matt. I came here and posted about it. Many of the same people here on this thread bashing Matt were the ones bashing me back then and "singing Matt's praises". Funny how things change!

I don't expect the Graybeal saga to end anythine soon...

A seemingly normal MG Reptiles deal went down here as well. Near zero communication, order back-shelved because of out-of-stock items and no notification (obviously buying time with your cash in the bank), order finally arrives and is short an item. Looks like some sort of a pattern... pinch the customer for an item and try to get away with it. Funny thing is, with such struggles the man seems to have, my e-mail titled "Order incomplete" was answered within minutes. My e-mail...

"Matt,

My order was received today and I was short one ESU digital thermometer. The order was for 10 of those, I was charged for 10 on the invoice and there were only 9 in the box. I'm in desperate need of this thing... how quickly can you send it off to me?

His response within minutes was an excuse stating...

"Thats odd I counted them twice.. I will have to isse you a refund.. Thanks!

My response was that I'd watch for the refund in PayPal... haven't heard from him again, never another response from my e-mails looking for the money and no refund. You would think that with him being there at the computer sending me that e-mail talking about a refund, he would take care of it right then and there. Maybe he lives on the edge with his shady dealings and can't issue refunds... even for a measly $7.99 to be a good Christian and come clean with an honest customer. Maybe he looks at everyone as being the same type of rip-off artist that he is... and treats everyone as such. He had my order on hold while waiting on a shipment of those thermometers... funny he was suddenly out of stock again and couldn't send me the one that was missing, and had to use the canned "refund" response to blow me off.

I realize what a complete waste of time this is... I wouldn't think he continues to monitor this forum and waste his time telling lies here. His fresh classifieds keep posting, and I'm convinced he is satisfied milking those ads for the occasional naive new customer using his Christian tag along with his signature "Honesty and Quality" label to sucker orders in. Reminds me of a chiropractor in our area that milks insurance companies for his money... he spends more of his time in court than he does snapping backs.

I should have been a little smarter this time and I'm surprised after all I read Matt is still able to run ads on another popular herp site. Should be something we can do about that?!!

And him putting up two new cheesy sites to sell his guns and knives... :shootfoot

It all comes back to you in the end Mr. Matt.

People... If you want real, honest and world-class customer service and need a thermostat... wired or raw... go see Dennis at D&X Reptiles. He's an honest to goodness "Good Guy". I explained my predicament and he had my package in the hands of the shipper literally within one hour of me placing the order. Dennis knows how to take care of his customers.

It wasn't on the BOI if I remember correctly. It was a long time ago. I think one of the moderators (forget his name, wasn't you or Lucille) deleted it after I was told it was "inappropriate".
 
I do seem to recall the same, in fact, I'm sure of it being posted. I don't remember where it was but I do remember it being mentioned.
