Okay, I really think all this name calling is unnecessary and has gotten way out of hand. Anybody who comes here looking for information may be turned off by having to read over a page of discussion on what derogatory names can be used without having racial connotations. Seriously, I know people are trying to help, and I appreciate it, but this is going too far.

On another note, I have taken care of the issue myself with NO help from Chuck. That's all I can really say, but he doesn't owe me anymore. I need to make sure that he and everyone else knows that this issue is now closed. Also, just to clarify to him, I have nothing to do with getting his animals removed or anything of that matter.

I am glad and saddened at the same time that you finally have some closure to this fiasco. It's a sad state of affairs. You should not have had to go to the lengths that you did to get restitution from Chuck.

I have to hand it to you, you have dealt with this situation with poise. I don't know too many people (myself Included) that would handle a situation like this as well as you have.

Just IMMHO, I honestly don't believe anything happened to Chuck that he did not bring on himself. I don't think anyone thinks you had anything to do with anything that may have transpired with him.

The name calling is juvenile at best and annoying at worst. Although, I really don't think it had any bearing whatsoever on wether Chuck paid you in a timely fashion or not. He lies so much and so often in this thread alone that it's probably a sure bet that it happens whenever his mouth is open.

Again, I am glad to hear something is finally happening for you. I realise you may not be able to go into detail now but, after all is said and done, perhaps you could let us know just how you went about it as I am sure a lot of folks would like to know.

At this point I honestly think this is another line of lies from Chuck. If he is being honest about this I think he needs to look at his friends or someone he knows personally because I would be willing to bet they are the ones reporting him. If Charles were raising/breeding his animals in accordance with the federal/state/local laws he wouldn't have anything to worry about so someone reporting him would be an annoyance at the most. Like I stated though I don't think he has had his animals taken away or his workplace called, I find it difficult believing anything he says. By the way Charles I did offer to come meet you face to face (to help resolve April's issue) so you wouldn't have to be a keyboard cowboy but you weren't interested in that.

Doesn't matter if someone called the state and his animals were removed. If you are keeping what you are legally allowed to keep and keeping them well, then there really wouldn't be any good reason for them to be removed. They were removed for very good reasons.

Thanks. I do know for a fact that he had animals seized. Maybe they took everything because some of the animals he had were ones that he wasn't supposed to have... All is said and done, though posting on here is how I'm letting Charles know about it. Thinking back, maybe I should have eaten the $120, because now I have skinny snakes with mites to deal with. I just found the damn mites today. I've been trying to quarantine as well as possible, but my place isn't very big. Hopefully they haven't traveled too far. I really don't like the idea of them spreading to the rest of my collection. Yeah, maybe I would have been better off leaving this unresolved. I haven't had to deal with mites for over 7 years and it's not a fun prospect when I also keep tarantulas that are sensitive to a lot of the mite treatments...

Don't ever think you should have "eaten" the loss! You did what was right, not for monetary reasons, but also for principal! That is how the scammers and liars keep being able to do what they do is be people doing nothing.

If it's any consolation, I also have spiders and I still preventively treat my snakes for mites monthly. Granted the spiders are in another room, but my house is open so I can't just shut the door.

I cover their enclosures with a towel and then treat the snake's enclosures. After two days I take off the towels. I use Equate lice bedding spray to treat.

Again, don't feel like any of this is on you. You did right and I, for one, look up to you.
