    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

On 2/21/03 I ordered two bulbs the cost was $89.98 plus $7 for shipping, on 2/22/03 I got a confirmation of my order and it was charged to VISA

I also attached the original order so there was a reference.

To date I have had no response on any emails but my original order confirmation, I don't mind that it may take some time, but it does bother me that I can not even get a response to my inquires checking about them two months later. Its a VISA charge so I can challenge it, but I would like to get the product.

Just a heads up if you need a product they carry, don't depend on promptness or response to inquiries. At this point I don't even know if they are processing the order or just taking money from people.
 
Just A Question

Did they charge your Visa? IF so your what ever company you have your Visa through should be able to help you, and if it was like mine and is just a visa debit card you can talk to your bank and they will help you out.

See if you cant call them. I have ordered a lot of bulbs from them in the past, and yes, they always take forever to get to me. However, I learned that if you keep calling them and bugging them, they get to you faster--LOL.
I have to say, I've tried most of the different uv/heat bulbs out there--all of them have burnout issues (zoomed is the best with replacements)--but the ones that I get from Wild inside, consistantly last longer than the other ones.

We've tried several too, I have not tried Big Apple yet, but so far we like the Active VU heat ones best too. We just replace one that was 14 months old and still had a UVB output. The Zoomed's we also seem to have a quick burnout rate with . Three we bought at the same time only worked for 2-3 months, strange as they were still putting out UVB, the bulbs just went dark. We have other ZooMeds that have been on for 6-8 months and are still good. They did replace the one that went out.

I will try and give them a call and see what is going on, ever get a reason why they are taking so long? Like I said, I don't mind the time but I would like to hear something.

My main concern is that others that need replacements not depend on these to come in timely and should make other arrangements for thier animals or order way in advance, I keep 3 extra now on hand. Locally these blubs cost $87-$97 and it kills me to have to pay that when I can order them online for $44 or get them at Daytona 3 for $100.
 
You are the most patient people alive!

I know the price is great, but the price must be available from some other seller that doesn't leave you in the dark (pun intended) for 7 weeks. That's just ridiculous.

You should be able to contact the manufacturer and ask for a list of distributors. If you explain the situation, I'm sure someone else would meet the price and manage to actually ship them to you.
 
I think the problem is that they do not have any distributors. If you want that specific bulb, it is through them. It used to be that they were the only people that had the uvheat bulb.
As far as the delays--they've told me several things--part of it has to do with the parts to make the bulb. But I think 6 weeks is the quickest I ever expect to get the bulbs from them, LOL.

Well, in all fairness to them, I did finally receive a response today this is what it said
Hi I didnt receive the invoice via my email but obviously it exists I will apply to get it and email you back, thanks for your patience Joe

No comment on the other emails I sent inquiring and no response
 
4/25 I contacted them again via email inquiry since the product still had not arrived. A few days later he called me and wanted to know what I had ordered as they could not locate it.

FINALLY, Friday May 2, 2003 the two bulbs arrived, so I have the order now.

These bulbs are really very good, just make sure you order them 3-4 months before you need them!
