The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

This is his first shed since I recieved him from a friend who had him in his garage without food or water for quite some time. I had someone look at him and they said it was because he was dehydrated. For the past 4 days I've been soaking him for 45 min twice a day and applying wound aide twice a day. I thought this would help him improve but today I looked at him and there was green puss coming off and looking like it was spreading. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks

To me, it looks like scale rot. A couple causes of scale rot include excessive moisture and unclean living conditions (living in its own feces for excessive periods).

Please take in mind that I am not a vet...I can only suggest going to a reputable reptile vet in your area. I hope you can get everything taken care of.

scale rot as well,

are you drying him after the soaking?

also what kind of substrate is the snake living in?

you might want to cut back to one soaking a day now

Definate scale rott or wet skin infection.... Take it to a vet immediately, no time for guessing games. Better safe than sorry......

I'm using paper towels for substrate and dry him off after soaking. I live in South Florida and im looking for a vet if anyone knows of one. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to take him. For the mean time I'll cut back the soaking and apply neosporin.

I've never seen scale rot befor but it looks almost like a mild burn to me, how hot was the hot spot? hope everything turns out good no matter what it is.

It seems to be belly rot. I would apply Neosporin and keep him as dry as possible. Use only paper as substrate and replace as needed. Just remember to maintain an adequate temperature gradient in his enclosure to boost his immune system.
