    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

ok, wha could they be though? and yeah we are keeping him. my fiance has had him for a couple years. and he got him from a girl in the military that had to go over seas and never came back to get him. thats why we dont know much about him.

Honestly, it's probably nothing. The fun is taking the gamble, breeding it, and hoping it's something. It's definitely a different belly pattern than all my normals.

thats just it though. if i dont know what he could possibly be het for i wouldnt know what to try to breed him to to get the most possible outcomes.

You aren't going to figure out what he could be het for unless you run him by a bunch of random het girls. The effort outweighs the gain.

Try to get a close up of that last 6 inches of his tail, from the belly angle. Sometimes you can find het pied markers, but I don't think you will find many other markers for recessives.

You can breed him to a normal. Take any offspring that share similar trends and breed them back to pops and hope for something.

Other than those three tips, there isn't much you can do without knowing.

like I said before...highly likely a normal...but the fun is in the breeding if you have the time...as far as the temps go...higher temps are not necessarily needed and I was asking only with the thought that it might be really cool in your house...my home set up sits in the 80 + degree range year round...and they are active...my classroom snake sits in the mid to upper 70's and he is healthy as can be contrary to the narrow minded thoughts some have posted here...if he is inactive it is likely due to lower temps than the 70's...good luck with him

ya at the first pic I thought I seen nice little pattern going but that has not been proven the markings for pied often good indicator but not 100 percent. I have proven het pieds with no markers and some with. Looks alittle darker than a norm. Breed him to a female keep all females and breed the male back to the female when of size.

Indicators only work if you know that the parents were het for something because every single indicator out there works with non hets as well as hets that's why we are telling you that the only way to find anything out is by breeding him to maybe two normal females and then keep back the female babies and breed them back to dad. That's the best way to see if he has anything going on.
