• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I very rarely see good, detailed pictures of what popped snakes look like, so I took it upon myself to provide some photos from tonight's sexing. I figure it's that time of year and these could be helpful to some individuals. :)

I'm going to try and get a better picture of a female tomorrow. My husband is horrid with a camera and was getting frustrated. ;)

Note: If you are uncomfortable probing or sexing your snakes yourself, don't do it. Contact a herp society or breeder near you to ask for assistance. Most are very willing to show you how to do it in person and supervise your first time or two.

I do the finger down the tail thing on babies (please note the extremely technical terminology & be in awe). I've been shown how to pop them many times but I'm still afraid of hurting them :(
 
When I got my spider and pastel from Adam Wysocki he popped them both in front of me and did it so easily it was just amazing. He did it like it was nothing. I am still nervous about doing it and thus I have never attempted it. I will just have to have the pros do it for me for now. One day I will have to be confident in doing it. But that is for another day. Thanks for the info and the cool pics :thumbsup:
