• Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry BallBids.com?

If they ship through SYR with the SYR packaging, then there will be some insurance for live delivery through syr.com

Not really. That insurance is for when FedEx doesn't make their 10:30 guarantee and a dead animal is delivered. It's a way for the seller to recoup some of their losses instead of just being SoL (since most reputable breeders will have issued a refund to the buyer).

Also, the insurance is not free and there are specific guidelines that must be adhered to by both parties.

Well the first auction was supposed to end 30 minutes ago, but when it came down to the wire, bidders were click happy. Then the time jumped up to an hour left? I sat back and watched what would happen, I hit the bid button once. According to the terms of service and reading their claims on here and BP.net, the time was supposed to not go over 15 seconds once the timer hit that time frame. And was just supposed to start with 15 seconds left for every bid? So IDK

And the bid package they have up did the same thing, except it says there are no bids yet? I think the server couldnt handle that many people chiming in all at once. But I put this on here in case anyone was wondering about what had happened to it.

I went on the live support, and he is telling me that the site keeps crashing. I asked if its gonna be fixed and got no response after that.

Crashing or not, dont mean keep extending the time to sucker more sales of bids to fatten your pockets more.

Should just end it, refund ALL the money and start over after your upgrade your server package

The site crashed again... the time stopped when it hit 18 minutes and 12 seconds. They obviously dont have the servers to handle the site. Even though they say they are working on it.... as I type this the time started counting down again

Is anyone actually surprised at the issues so soon?

And people are sending these shysters money. This is the reason the hobby will never be able to police itself.

Well, there was a winner.... but the site crashed for about 20 minutes and BAM!! theres a winner. I had put in another bid (site gives you 5 free when you sign up) and it never registered.

Well, there was a winner....

I wonder if that was a "real" winner or if it was a "fake" winner just like the BP's listed that sold for low prices on auctions that never actually happened.
I'll take a gamble and say it was a fake winner.

I find their return policy interesting:

Return Policy: If you are not satisfied with any auction item you have purchased, you may return it for a full refund within 7 days, unused and in its original package.

Wonder how one would go about returning a live BP, unused, in its original package? If you open it to see if you're satisfied by even a quick look, is it a "used" product? If so, then we need to invest in some x-ray glasses so we make sure we can return our snakes.

I actually got Avi on chat to ask about the return policy they have listed:
