    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was looking over the classifieds and instead of hitting the arrow I hit last page. For the hell of it I looked to go back in time. I love it......pied $10,000. A lot of people were trying to get pastel males! Hets that were way up there and then the morphs as they made their appearance. You can actually see some of the bigger guys when they were posting their own ads. Kinda amusing if you get a chance to look.
 
Some of us saw it happen the first time, lol. I remember seeing pics of the first pied - I thought it was interesting, but I didn't like it (knew people would be nuts for it, though).
 
Yeah I remember seeing my first bumblebee wondering how I could ask for a second mortgage on my house for one!
 
Yup - I was just getting back into snakes...went to a show, and couldn't believe A) that ball pythons had become popular, and B) the advertised prices on the morphs I saw.
 
remember when king and milk snakes were all the rage...
edit to add - and bulls and pines.. you just don't really see people into those as much anymore (at least that I see)

I was checking back after reading this post and saw 1.1 yellow bellies for $20k!! My have times changed.
