Proven to be water resistant! Field collected from extremely rural and renewable sources. It's white cedar - and guess what, white cedar has NO TOXIC AROMATIC OILS, unlike red cedar (also known as aromatic cedar) or pine. Each piece is unique and naturally sculpted by water.

Oak Branches
Our oak is closely related to the cork bark bought in stores. Around here, fishermen use it as lobster trap skids - in fact, the classic lobster trap was often made of it before plastics became popular! It is highly resistant to rot, and often has beautiful lichens on it. It is by far one of our favorites based on its beautiful aesthetics and ergonomic nature.
