In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The basins (as opposed to the northerns) are quite nice in that they have so much more white on them. The dorsal stripe that many of the basins sport is rarely (if ever) found in the northern type.

Thier attitudes tend to be more docile and they get much bigger than the northerns. They come from a smaller area of the Amazon, mainly in the Amazon basin.... as opposed to the northerns that are found throughout most of northern South America.

As far as ETBs go, basins are the deal. Northerns are what you use to practice keeping them so that you're ready for a $2,500 snake.

Another factor that will drive this price is that their gestation is somewhere in the area of 8 months before they give live birth. If this girl is already gravid, she can partruate with around 6 to 10 baby basins.

No problem, you might be thinking of the emeralds, there is a big price diff. Between the two. Example. Baby emerald babies are around. 300 baby basins are around 2500

yea actually i was thanks for clearing that up for me and are the basins a type of emerald or tottaly different...

Lets not forget who produced them. Everything that Mark sells is top notch and worth paying a little more for as you know what you're buying.

I'll agree with what has already been said about the fact that Basins are the deal. I also lived in the Amazon Basin for two years and would like to add that they've closed their borders to exporting these animals to the US. So if you find a WC Basin for sale that is a recent import.........it's been imported illegally which would cause a decrease in the supply and an increase in demand...therefore creating a bit of a cut-throat market and driving the price up. I.E. - these snakes are only sold as CB animals and the gene pool as far as getting WC stock is concerned, is officially closed. That may or may not change in the future.

Basins are beautiful animals and are worth the investment IMO.

FWIW...

That is a very nice pair, if I had the extra cash sitting around I would have been all over that deal.. Awesome snakes!!!

I currently have a few and one of my females is also gravid, she is getting big as a house. I have targeted the black line, I have a LTC female with a almost black head and a male from Sean Stuart that also has a almost black head. They are both very dark in color and have a bright stripe, the only problem is the female has a broken stripe.

The price for the animals you had for sale was not bad, I think what most people fail to relize is that normally there is a waiting list on Basins and if they are offered for sale to the general public they are few and far between.
As opposed to posting them on a common board maybe you should have put them on one of the specialty boards, at least the guys there know the value of the snakes and have the husbandry skills to take care of them.

Once again great animals
