• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Almost two months ago (Sept 3 I believe) I bought a baby leatherback bearded dragon from Gary Poling AKA BaskNDragons. This was my first time buying a live reptile online and I waited this long to make a review because I wanted to make sure everything went well with the baby, and I also had not found any reviews for him at the time. He seemed professional when I spoke with him however and his beardies were very tempting!
As far as I know the packaging was great (like I said, first time getting a shipped reptile), it had insulation and lots of paper in there to keep the deli cup from bouncing around. It also had a cooling pack because it was a little hot that week.
When I received the baby I was very happy. He was very alert and might I add beautiful IMO :) He was approx. 6 or 6 1/2 inches then.
Now he's already 9 1/2 inches and eats greens and bugs like a little pig, and has what appears to be two tiny lumps behind his vent (for those not familiar with beardies these are the hemipenes).
All in all I'm very happy with this purchase and if I ever get more beardies I will definitely consider buying from Gary again. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a bearded dragon.
 
I don't know how Gary doesn't have more positive feedback. I just got a few dragons from him and I'm blown away by the quality of what I got. I was going to purchase a specific dragon but ended up getting a few others without seeing pictures of them. They were much better than I expected though and I'll happily get more from him if the sex ratio doesn't work out like I'm hoping.
