    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I hear everyone talking about how their dragons low bath time. Mine seem to hate it and will climb up my arm with their sharp claws to escape. They don't even seem to like it when I mist them. Is there anyway to get them to calm down? I have been doing baths and misting since I got them and they just don't seem to get used to it at all. :shrug01:

most of mine are like that too. Just check the bath temp and make sure they have something to cling to while in the bath. My babies hate bathes in the sink cause they have no grip on anything and will pile ontop of each other. My adults love them now though cause i was very gentle with them as babies and water.
Mistings seem to go either way, hate or love, based on the beardie.

Mine are almost 5 months old. They won't let me go when I put them in the bath so I let them hold onto my arm so hopefully they will feel safer.

Let them sit in the tub without the water for a few times b4 adding water. When you notice them settling down in there add a little bit at one oend of the tub ( by the drain end..most tubs r alittel slanted downward at this end) add it slowly though cause when you turn it on full blast they will associated the fear they get when the they hear the loud rushing water with th e souroundings. Its kinda like us people when we go by where we had an accident we either #1 remember the wreck just becaue of the sourounding or #2 remmeber it and associate it with that paranoid feelign we might wreck there again... so just put them in there with a towel on one end and just let them chill for a few times, then add some water without the towel and just gradually add more and more each time until it finally reaches where they r...atleast that way they now its not gonna do anything to them since they noticed it at the other end when they where there the last time they had seen the tub sides nothing had happened to them physically...try it and let us know how it goes.

Could I have been scaring them because I did not use the tub? I have been using a plastic container and already having water in it. It is a clear plastic and I had just a little water in it so they could still walk.

no thats fine! I dont know why they would have been freaking out in there though, just try the tub thing, how biug is the container, if too small they could have felt scared being in such a tight space, just try the bath thing and see what happens.

The container is not real big but I thought they would feel more secure. Maybe I was wrong. I will try the bath thing and see if that works. Thanks.

It was awesome. I put the sisters in the tub together on the small towel I have for them and they didn't seem to freak out. I then decided to start the water a little and let it reach the towel and to my surprise Angel started swimming in it. Buffy on the other hand didn't freak out but is being a little cautious of it. She just walked around and then stopped and stared. The water started getting a little cooler so I decided to take them out and Angel still kept trying to swim. Thanks for the help. :hurray:
