    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Very cool. Almost makes me miss breeding them. Until I remember going through 8000 crickets a month lol.
I always loved the hatchlings though. I had a ton of fun breeding beardies.

Believe me I won't miss the crickets either after these guys are gone. I will miss the babies though but its fun for the little while that I have them.

8,000 a month? We wish! We go through 14,000 a week.

I'd never consider doing that, not for a second. It's just not worth it to me. My small group of beardies took more time and work than the 75 adult snakes I had at the time. I had been raising them for 9 years and finally said this is pointless, I'm a slave, and I sold them all.
I got out of all bug eaters except for four ackies, and I'll never be back into them even as far as I was then let alone to the point had to have 14 boxes of crickets a week.

Farm-O-Lizards

Wow, that's a lot of crickets! Matt Haines; how many dragons/cricket eaters did you have when you were using 14000 a week???? We have 3 dragons and 6 chameleons and we only use 1000 every 8 days or so. You must have had a farm!! :eek: Who did you get your crickets from? We can't seam to find a company that reliable enough to stay with.

back to the subject of the hatchlings pls... very cool hope the breeding goes well for you if you hope to breed ageain

Very nice babies - they're thick right out of the egg.
Best of luck with them.

OT - Hmmm... Ill trade cricket bills with any of you!

I'm not breeding beardies again they're to hard to find homes for and I don't have the time for that many babies anymore. Don't get me wrong I love my babies but its to much stress on me and my other animals that don't get as much attention when I have babies.

I was lucky this year actually I have a good group of babies and the second clutch thats hatching now are almost as big at the ones that are just under a month old. The pics are of my first clutch thats not even a month yet and they're already going through their first shed. I shouldn't be surprised though since their big brother that'll be a year in June is 500 grams. I'll take some new pictures after they finish shedding since they grow so fast.
