In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Be carefull were you leave your shoes......

....you may have an uninvited traveler the next day. LOL :hehe:

I must have left my work sneakers near my racks the other day. I felt something near my toe and figured it was just a little peble or something.
Boy was I wrong. At lunchtime I took of my shoe to see what it was, A mealworm beetle. And it was still alive, lol.

Another thing to keep in mind, when you tell yout kids the tape is by your racks, be specific. When they can't find it they may peel all the tape of the labels you had on your tubs and reuse it. :slamit:

LMAO.....:)

I can relate to the mealie bug in your shoe-LOL
I am always not noticing supers that have attached to my sleeve-I guess they crawl up my sleeve while I am busy feeding and I usually end up with one on the back of my neck
YUCK
and the suckers BITE !
Oh and I just LOVE when crix jump in my face when I open the lid to their container
I don't mind the loose crix in the house-the cats make short work of them-extra protein-LOL
I just am ever so grateful that the roaches don't climb-LOL
ahhhhhhhhh.......the bug woes
:D

I have never had a loose beetle but I've got a cricket that's been on the loose this past week and it's driving me nuts with it's chirping. Then to top it off, the other day I was dumping 1000 3/4 inch crickets into a plastic tub and just my luck the egg crates inverted while falling out of the box and about a dozen crickets leaped to freedom :( . Found one this morning about 3 steps up and almost out the basement door into the kitchen......Guess I'd better clue the wife into what happened before I find a surprise in my dinner some night :ack2:

LOL I'm just waiting for the day my little girl decides to get into the roach container. that's gonna be fun.

I left a container of supers once in a drawer (the family does not like to see them) and when I checked later there was a super sized hole in the lid. I didn't think many had escaped, but eventually we had about 3 months of seeing HUGE black beetles walking through the living room. You can imagine what that did to everyone.

HAHAHAHA, I know what that's like, but for some reason no cricket lasts long in my house, I find them twitching on the linoleum all the time, like they just got the crap beat out of them. I picked up my boots the other day and there were over a dozen dead underneath. Maybe I should spray my boots with lysol LOL

I think my dogs find the crickets before I do and they just crawl in a pile or something. All I know is, my daughter brings me about 6 a day and puts tem in my hand
