do ual no wat a scammer is.a scam is if u bought a snake from
me and i said it was a 400gram and when u got it it was only
150grams or it was a corn snake.that is a scam i put a pic of
somthing that looks like mine.i did not say it was 7ft and it realy is 4ft.that would b a scam.i have never sold a sick snake
and new about it.if there is somthing wrong i will tell that person.my child suport has nothing 2 do with this.if i wont 2 be a ass i can press charges on the person that post the child suport on here.but i am not going 2.iam checking it out 2 see if i can just in case.

I think you don't know what a scam is. A scam is any misrepresentation of an item for sale. You never said that the pic you STOLE was "like my animal" you claimed it WAS YOUR ANIMAL.


Oh, and just so you know, your arrest record is a matter of public record... good luck finding a lawyer to take that case

While we are on the topic of pressing charges, you should actually have charges pressed against you for stealing other people's photos and using them as your own. I'm sure that breaks a few laws somewhere.

u are right i just talked 2 someone and they said there is nothing i can do.this has nothing 2 do with wat happen.
i take full resonablty 4 wat i did.atleast i can say i was wrong.

Bear34653: I think the main thing is that if you want to trade here, you can largely redeem yourself and start fresh if you do a few things:

1. Take photos of your OWN snakes, OR state clearly that "This is not my snake" on ads (but ALWAYS better to have your own photos or people are going to ask why you do not show the actual item for sale).

2. Don't post in text language - this is fine on a phone, but in a forum simply makes people judge you as unprofessional. Typing errors and bad grammar are usually overlooked, but text speak just doesn't work.

3. Always reply to messages, and keep it polite. I actually think that you have been doing this pretty much - and showing that you are prepared to answer criticism really helps your cause.

So, if you are legitimate and do want to sell your reptiles here, it's easy to do, and people on here do give second chances.

However, if you continue to present yourself like this, you are not going to be taken seriously.

The ball really is in your court.

I havent really said anything cause I dont know Ron. I have seen his stuff on craigslist though. I would just want to say Ron if you have a sunglow and just no pics just state that. Message Adam Kirk and tell him how truly sorry you are and I hope you mean it. Next sale just buy a cam and everything will be fine. I am not trying to throw you under the bus like everyone is ( not saying they are wrong for doing so ) but I am actually just curious on how you cant take a picture of the sunglow but on craigslist you have a picture of a ball python ( I believe it is a spider or a pinstripe not sure cause I saw it last night ) and it has a piece of paper with your full name next to it and there is a lighter in the pic. Why not jsut take a pic of the sunglow with the same cam. And if you took in anything that I said was rude then I have no idea why. I am just curious.

Josh, I saw that ad/photo last night also. I don't remember if it was on Craigslist (I rarely go there), but I know I saw it somewhere. The lighter was a little orange Bic-type next to the snake and the hand-written note was above the snake if I remember correctly. Trying to find the ad now.

Ron I accept your apology for using my pic but that by no means made it ok. It does not clear your name either you have got to figure that one out. You could start by apologizing to anyone else who you have taken a pic from. Post your pics with your ads, its a must. Send me your address in a pm and I will send you a digital camera free of charge with the USB cable to go with it. I mean that too. I believe in second chances but you have to figure out how to get people to trust you after this mess you got yourself into. What were you thinking? Do research on your animals and tell everything you know about them, like it has a kinked tail or it breaths funny (if they do). I owned and researched the reptiles I keep for 3 years before I went into selling and breeding. Occasionally I get animals that I have never kept before but I make sure if someone asks a question I do not know to tell them exactly that. If you dont know the sex then say so. I have incorrectly sexed an animal and sent it out but I refunded exactly what she asked plus a little more for her trouble. You must make things right if you mess up.
Think about what you are doing and if you think you can do better then do better. Know what you are doing and know that the animal is healthy before you sell it. Good luck.
