• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

okay i know everone has their own way of doing things but i need some advice on my setup. i have a 5 inch baby hypo snow leatherback weighing 6 grams. i have him in a 20 gallon long tank, basking site 115 degrees, cool side 82. feeding him turnip and collard greens, squash and shredded carrots occasionally. My question is how many times a day or week should i dust crickets with reptical with d3 and herpivite? i plan on taking him out in the sun 3x a week weather permitting. Is there anything i should change on my setup ? Thanks in advance.
Jay

i dust crickits every day and never had a problem.. also if ur taking out in sun you won't be able 2 much longer in chicago... so then only dust them maybe 3 times a week...

You didn't tell what was the substrate or what you have in there

Like water dishes/hides, etc.. take a picture of your setup and explain ur stuff.

might want to get a shallow salad dish as that is to deep.. if the water dish don't have steps, i can't tell its to deep most likely, give him a real shallow thing for his salad.. along with mist it with water... looks pretty good, might want to eventually save up for a repti carpet prob cost 10-15 dollars, easy to clean, just take it out and wash it with water and scrub the feces off and put it back in, will save a lot of money in the long run with paper towels, i perfer green repti carpet also.

everything else looks pretty good and the repti sun is good, and you know that after 5-6 months the uvb leaves the repti sun, the light still works, but you will need a new repti sun after 5-6 months..

i'd also lower the temps about 5-10 degrees as thats a little hot, but it might not be a problem as he can climb and stuff off the rock at his preference.. just make sure that rock don't get to hott and burn him..
