In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

$500 OBO

I HAVE HAD A FEW PEOPLE ASK IF I WILL SHIP EVERYTHING.....THERE'S WAY TOO MANY ITEMS, TOO HEAVY, TOO COMPLICATED, CAN'T DO IT. SORRY!

Also - in the pics, there is aquarium background paper placed along the bottom of the glass sliding doors. this can easily be removed - I just used it to prevent him from rubbing his nose on the glass.

For sale is Twizzler, a 2 year old male bearded dragon, fire color morph. Has never bitten, no health problems. Eats superworms and greens/veggies/fruits. We moved, and we don't have as much room now for his beautiful but large enclosure, and I don't want to downgrade him to a smaller tank just so we can keep him. He loves his castle :) We are also so busy that we haven't had time to really pay much attention to him lately, which isn't fair for the fella.

Includes enclosure from showcasecages.com (check them out to see why they're the best cages around, though a wee bit pricey), custom stand with lots of storage, automatic water mister, decorations (large log and rock stairs attached to back of tank), food bowls, 48" UV light strip, two dome light fixtures, and under tank heater. Don't need to use any bedding with this cage. Super easy to clean, and it locks with a key for security. Cage measures 60" x 24" x 24". ShocaseCages are stackable - you can stack them on top of eachother and still have complete access to lighting fixtures, etc. Cabinet is standard kitchen countertop height. Here's a break down of how much we have invested in everything:

Beardie - 200 (came from a good breeder, don't remember which one though)
Tank - 600
Lighting fixtures - 100
Stone stairway - 75
Log - 25 (yes, we paid money for a stinking log)
Sprayer - 30
Base cabinet - 125
Counter top - 50
Spray paint - 60 (stone textured stuff is ridiculously expensive)

That's almost $1300, not even including sales taxes and shipping fees. I'm asking 500, which is much less than half of my investment.

The tank will last a lifetime, and is beautiful enough to be a centerpiece of your home rather than an ugly eyesore of a cruddy glass aquarium. We always get so many compliments, even from people who think reptiles are disgusting!

Last winder he brumated from New Years till the first day of Spring. He doesn't have to do this, but I'm guessing he'll sleep through this winter too if you let him.

You did an awesome job on that set-up! My beardie has nothing compared to that and I thought I did a pretty good job! LOL! You should have no problem finding a home for him and the set-up.

thanks guys! i figure if i'm going to keep an animal in captivity, it better be a penthouse suite haha. i have people who want to buy the beardie and put him into a "tank".....but he can just stay here until somebody wants his castle too :D
