In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

beardie eggs

My dragon eggs average 65 to 70 days at 84* Lower temps mean longer hatch times. What temperate have you been incubating them at?

You are 15, do you have the time to raise babies? Look at this site and tell me you have everything on it.

What two dragons bred? What is your setup?
BE SPECIFIC!

God, don't jump down his throat because he's 15. I've seen some of your posts here and elsewhere and so far I don't have very much respect for you.

Young man, you should have some babies soon. Do be sure to be prepared and get everything in order before your babies arrive. Good luck, it can be a fantastic experience and a great learning experience. If you need any help or are unsure of what to do when the babies hatch out let us know and we'll be glad to help. :)

Not to be a jerk but I think if I remember correctly you only have juvies and subadults at this point. I don't think you've hatched any dragons out yourself, how are you qualified enough to berate Mike about his breeding ventures?

So long as they are viable it should be at any moment. Please let us know what temperature you have been incubating them at. How do the eggs look? By now they should be quite a bit larger than what they started off as and when they are about to hatch the eggs develop little beads of condensation(sweat) on them.

Thank you very much Richard. And yes of course i have those things, just because I am 15 doesn't necessarily mean that I'm an idiot. And what do you mean by what 2 dragons bred? And the setup for the babies is a 20 gallon aquarium with paper towels on the botton, and a medium sized river rock as a basking spot, the basking spot is 105-110, and i have a roach colony with thousands of little babies that they can eat. And yes i know how to incubate them, I am using a hovabator kept at 84-85. And the eggs are incubating on moist vermiculite. . .and so on. And they look white, firm, and are larger than when they were first layed. Thanks a lot

Good deal. Like I say anywhere around 55 days or so after lay they should be ready to hatch so it will be anytime now. Enjoy your babies and update us when they start hatching.

I'm really not a big fan of anything that small for even babies, harder to establish a good heat gradient. I use 50 gallon Rubbermaid tubs for babies and adults, they are only $15 each and the lid is easily drilled for fixtures. I'd also recommend seperating the babies out. I generally weigh them every 2 days and the larger ones that are gaining quick and the smaller ones that aren't gaining as fast are kept apart from each other so no animal is deprived of food.

I think what she was refering to by what two dragons, is are you sure they are distantly related enough to make genetical sound offspring. Given the state of the beardie gene pool its a legitimate question. Now granted I think you age is irrelevant as I remember my brother breeding BRBs when he was 15 himself. His female "popped" about 2 weeks sooner than expected and due to the vents in her viv we had about 25 nippy neo BRBs all over the house. Fun, fun, fun. I digress, it is important to know as far back as possible to make sure your BDs are as unrelated as possible, some people say 3 generations some say 5 (Id go 5 myself). Good luck and keep that female well supplemented.

lol thats an interesting story. And now the question makes sense, and no they are not related, they came from 2 different breeders, and I know that the bloodlines are different.

That's awesome. Please post pics after they come out if you have the capability. Nothing quite like seeing a little dragon coming out of their eggs.
