In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. One of my favorite bands. Sad sad sad.

R.I.P. ADAM!

"Yauch co-founded the Beastie Boys with Mike "Mike D" Diamond and Adam "Ad-Rock" Horowitz in 1979. The band started off as a hardcore punk group, but soon began experimenting with hip-hop. The band broke big with their first proper album, Licensed to Ill, in 1986, and further albums Paul's Boutique, Check Your Head and Ill Communication cemented the band as a true superstar act.

In addition to his career with the Beastie Boys, Yauch was heavily involved in the movement to free Tibet and co-organized the Tibetan Freedom Concerts of the late Nineties. In 2002, he launched the film production company Oscilloscope Laboratories."

That sucks. He was a huge talent. I was and still am a huge Beastie Boys fan.

Coolin' on the corner on a hot summers day
Just me, my posse and M.C.A.
A lot of beer - a lot of girls - and a lot of cursing
Twenty-two automatic on my person

These guys are well liked not only by the fans but a lot of celebs also. I'm not a rap fan but talent is talent. Very sad he passed at such a young age.

That sucks. Didn't know anything about it til I saw this thread. Licensed To Ill was one of the first cassettes I ever bought, when I was somewhere around 9-10 years old.
