• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Okay everybody.. I'd like to introduce my self by first saying, what a nice online community this has been for me during the time we had our Iguanas. Unfortunately, we are moving overseas, and we had to give away our two Iguanas some time ago, as they are not allowed in the country we are moving to. But... That's life for you..

Anyway.. My name is Bob, and the reason I am posting this, is to try to sell the cages we have for them. The person we gave the Iguanas to, already had cages for them, so we have just kept them in our garage since then.

This cage is custom made to fit in a living room just like any other furniture. When we built the cage, we had that mentality in mind that we did not want some boards and chicken wire sitting in the living room, looking lie something that belongs in the backyard, so we came up with this design. It has a bottom and backwall that has been constructed in a way to look like stone. Also the shelves have been made to look like rock shelves. As you can see from the pictures, it has two basking spots at the top of the cage. On top of those basking spots, is where the UV lights and the heat lamps are (Included in the sale). We had no problem keeping the temperature to an acceptable level in the basking areas. Also the Iguana will be pretty close to the UV's up there, so the exposure is good. The size of the enclosure is 75" high, 50" wide, and 25" deep. It suits a smaller iguana or a bearded dragon perfectly. But too small for a big fullgrown iguana.

The closure is resting on casters, so moving the cage around our hard wood floor never was a problem. (I think carpet floors would be harder)
I recommend putting on bigger caster wheels for an even easier move.

For humidity, we used a fogger on top of the cage that ran on a timer every now and then during the day to keep the humid level comfortable. The cage also have spotlights built in to it with the dimmer on the side. (Very nice aspect to the cage) Looks stunning when it's dark outside.

The UVA lights, heat lamps, spot lights, water dish, even the log you see in some of the picture are all included. Even the power terminal is included. It has a digital timer on it for both night and day.

I am considering putting the cage on eBay, so I will supply you all with the link to it when i am done.

If interrested, throw me an offer.
Anyways, here's the pictures.

I live in Ft Lauderdale would you be willing to meet me in Titusville an hour south of you ? Have to check the measurements against my living room and make sure it will work for me before I make a bid.

Hello.. I'm sorry, but I really don't have any type of transportation that would accommodate such a big load. I would need a pick-up or a box van for it, and I have no way of getting my hands on one.

I'd love to help you out, but.. There's no way i could do that.

Regards..

If it doesn't sell on Ebay let me know. I will be about 2 hours south of you on March 12 and would be able to pick it up then if someone there can help me load it up. Let me know if this works for you .

Looks nice. I'll be in palm coast tuesday, so if it doesn't sell by then I'd like to check it out in person if that's okay.
