    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i had a clutch of 7 eggs from a bee het og to pastel. got 2.0 killerbees(lost one never got out of the egg), 2.1 bumble bees and these. i have seen pastels before and normals and these look nothing like them. these pics have not captured the orange that they are and that lets me down. and one of the bees has a crazy pattern by its tail almost like a ringer. any ideas? thanks for looking. also included a pic of the killer bee

Looks like pretty normals. I just had some similar not that long ago. Got belly shots? Pics of parents?
 
i can take some. i had another clutch hatch out and the normals are normals. these the orange is intense and it got better with their last shed. their bellys are clean. the second pic is cleaner than the firsts.
 
I was thinking maybe yb. But let's see those belly pics and pics of parents. I had normals that were exactly what you just described and they were nothing more than nice normals. Yea they looked like Ybs but the belly was wrong.
 
Here's one of my normals I hatched out of a triple sired clutch. She's amazing yes but just a normal. I posted these to show you normals can come in all color variations. I'm debating keeping her.

Anyways, nice killer bee. Sorry you lost the other. You should post more pics!!

Those are some really hot normals u all are posting, I hope im half that lucky next year!

Can we get a belly shot of the killer bee with the possible ringer?
 
That is a bumble bee?? was wondering because the head is so blushed out!! The body looks bumble but the head looks killer........ I'm asking because I have a bee x pastel clutch at day 57 right now and 2 of the babies have a super blushed out head like that and I was hoping they are killers.....


Either way.. Super nice bee and cool looking normals.. it's good to have a few normals in a collection that have some style on there own!

The heads are way more blushed when they first come out of the eggs. Its better to identify them after their first shed.
 
Ok that explains it with the killer and bumble! those are all good looking babies!


Looks like I'll be posting picks after first shed... see what everyone says!
 
But u dont have a belly shot on ur bee, If we were to see the belly it would be easier to tell if it does have a ringer
 
i will try to take on tonight if i can get to it. there is one on the female weird normal as well. the pics dont show it so i am going to have to take better pics
