I'd like to learn more about belly patterns. It's something I've never really paid attention to in boas because it just seems highly variable. However I always see BP belly shot photos and dinker belly shots.

So far, I think these are things people look for:
the 'railroad'? track marks? where the belly pattern on the sides becomes a solid line - pieds have areas of this on the sides of the belly, usually near the tail.
Smudging - smudges of black in the middle of the tail
No pattern - as seen in pastels, lessers, etc
Different colors - I saw something called a strawberry?

are those right?
Let's see your belly pics! Got any you think might be something special? What is it that stands out to make it special?

Here's my normal's belly (as a base for what a normal belly is to compare to whatever someone wants to post)

If you want to see railroad tracks, my dinker girl Osmosis has the best I've seen. This year I did prove that this dorsal stripe is genetic, but it will take me at least one more breeding to figure out if it's dominant or codominant.

And what she looks like when she's glowing during ovulation:

Aaaand, since nobody's posted a calico yet, here's my male calico. He's got a strange midbody ringer that kinda messes with his belly. It's pretty neat.

this girl has amazing "railroad tracks"

Yeah, I think we did just get beat, lol! Chad, your snake in particular has a very interesting belly, do you know what her history is? Any possible pied genes mixed in there? How 'bout yours, Robert?

Some kids found him in a pet shop quite a few years ago. Hes prolly about 7yrs old, and the shop was known for getting ch and imports. I have no idea what genes he contains if any, but hopefully I'll be able to tell you after the 2012-2013 season :D

My girl was picked out of a group of import babies, her body markings kinda remind me of the het rio.
