    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just moved, still unpacking things, have my little coastal bunked with my big coastal, fed them last night, big coastal is going into shed and didn't eat her meal. Instead the little one somehow did. Along with hers. Now she's massively bloated and I'm concerned. She burped and it smelled like nasty dead rat. I remember hearing something a long time back about too big of a meal not being able to digest properly and "rotting" inside the snake. She doesn't seem to be bothered but I'm still concerned about this. Should I try to get her to cough it up or just let it digest? Have never had anything like this ever happen before.

She's fat, but you see pythons in the wild with this type of stretch and no obvious ill effects. I'm sure a lot of the more experienced guys will give you more reliable advice than I can, but I wouldn't panic: if they can swallow it they can normally digest it. Just make sure that your tank temps are right - I think that the only reason she wouldn't digest it properly is if she gets cold.
It would be interesting if you continue to photo her and post them so that we can see how long it takes.
Good luck!

Leave her alone - dragging her out of her cage for photo ops was a poor choice. Just let her digest her meal in peace.

If you have to bunk more than one snake together they need to be separated when fed. At least they didn't fight and there was no cannibalism.

Make sure your big one isn't bullying the little fattie away from the heat, if they're still together.

Leave her be. Carpet Pythons have much better resilience to massive meals then many other members of Morelia. A GTP with a meal that size, could very easily be damaged and have a prolapse. I would always avoid feeding any pythons together and definitely never move an animal out of its cage after a big meal. All my opinion anyway.
