In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Don't really think the thread is a problem - as soon as you click on it you're told it's an attention grabber and that he's highly recommended. I know some people won't read the whole thread, but it's obvious from the first sentence of the first post. So I side with the "clever" opinion. Made you look, right?

Rather amazing that a simple post of letting someone know that some did a good job turns into a gimmick. Reminds me of a large sign I saw "GOING OUT for BUSINESS" instead of going out OF business... He thought he was smart also, but ended up being summoned because when one is in the process of closing there store they need a permit to display the signs.....
In this case you had someone who thought he was going to be cute ! Another example of abusing a site devoted to good guy threads and bad guy threads.. Bad taste. If I were Ben, I would not be jumping up and down with joy.

Just got a 2010 Irian Jaya Carpet Python from Ben and Couldn't be any happier. Very professional people with great animals and the packaging was perfect. Will definately do business with them in the future!

I'm fairly new to reptiles and especially to Fauna and didn't really know anything about Ben but after seeing the reaction to this thread I can tell he is well respected and a good guy to do business with.

Ben is a great guy to do business with. I have a 2008 Peruvian Rainbow Boa that I couldn't be happier with. The snake was one of the best-packed shipments I've ever gotten and large and healthy and active. I've never had a health problem with him and the eye-popping colors and incredible contrast are awesome for the price. I'd definitely do business with him again.

Well...I don't mean this to come off rude at all, but are those the kind of customers he would want anyway? If they aren't going to take the time to click a couple threads and do their research, who knows how much research they did before buying his animal?
I have to admit I've never bought from him before, and I was searching him because I saw an ad on Kingsnake and it looked like a beautiful animal so I BOI'd him...this was the first thread that popped up and I read the whole thing. Now I know that I have nothing to worry about if I do end up buying from him since there are apparently many people who jumped on this thinking they'd need to defend him if need be
Yeah, no one wants customers that will buy stuff from them.

I purchases a baby caiman lizard from Ben at the spring (march I beleive) 2010 repticon show. Mango is doing well eating like a pig and i am VERY happy with the quality of the animal, customer service rendered by Ben and my purchase as a whole. I will be purchasing another caiman lizard as soon as I have the funds!

I have not purchased from Ben but have seen his animals at the Orlando Repticon and he does have some great animals.
I will have to say that positive feedback does not travel to as many people as negative feedback does so not a bad idea with this post. If people actually read it he may get more business.
