    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Judy, ur right, I should have put it differently. I was not thinking. As for deleting him off my FB page, I delete many people off my FB page due to the fact that I don't even talk to them. As for deleting Ben, 1 I was offended(yes, like I said earlier... maybe I should have not), 2 Candace is a friend of mine and hearing about what happen to her added fuel to the fire, so yes, after hearing what she told me, I deleted him. Simple as that.... What I do not appreciate from all of you is the sarcasm, not the your opinions. Everyone have their opinions and that's ok, but the sarcasm? The sarcasms are needless and not needed, but your opinions I can understand.

If you all feel that I'm selfish for wanting to give back and be offended by those who don't... than that's ok. That's what makes this world unique and make all of us different. I am not going to change my mind because you all feel the way you do... and u certainly isn't going to change your mind because I feel the way I do. U know what I mean? So, why are you all going at it none stop? Like I said earlier, it's a waste of our time. We aren't going to change each other's mind. I understand that you all are trying to explain it to me like I am trying to explain how I feel to you. But still, not going to change your mind nor me change yours. So, it's useless to keep this going. :)

Ah so that's it. Your "friend" scammed Ben out of a free snake and you were running to her defense with some slight that wasn't a slight in the first place. Then you tried to put it off on a phantom "anti-military" attitude that you incorrectly perceived Ben to have. You claimed to have removed Ben from your friends list because he deleted your wall post... on his wall. You're just as brilliant as your scammer buddy. Get your story straight. Was it the wall post or was it how he gave your friend a free snake.

I'd never sell to either one of you people. Christ knows what you two would dream up next. Go ask Candace to treat you to some ice cream on Ben's dime. Then you can put your heads together and try to convince one another that you are totally entitled and so freaking brilliant. Sounds like a blast! Not.

That here says it all, your post here had nothing to do with an actual transaction :shrug01: but was meant to help a friend that BTW was taking care of very generously considering that.

A# She did not read the Terms or did but decided that they did not apply to her :rolleyes:
B# Rather than contact the seller privately decided within hours without giving the seller a chance to post something very public on FB and than here.

Having friends is one things however when those friends are wrong in no way would I stand for them or help them in their intent to tarnish a business reputation.

Wow, really? So it's ok for BEN to deceive people with a sick(RI) and chewed up snake and pass it as if nothing's wrong with it??? Really??? Don't Effing tell me he did not see that chewed up part of the Blood!!! Don't even tell me that Sh!T!!! If he did not see that, that tells me right there that he don't pay much attention to his animals, and if he did see it??? That tells me he really don't care about shipping a sick animal nor does he care that his client is receiving a sick and injured animal. Either way, he knows the injuries are there. For you all to take his side, knowing that the animals is sick... It's disgusting! I don't care what you all think of me... nor do I give a rats @ss how u feel about me. Have you all thought about the animal??? Did it ever cross your mind that now, she has to take this animal to the vet for treatment??? So, yes!!! I read this post from start to finish, and I didn't see anything about the snake having RI. Did I miss something? I mean, I know I read a lot of it after a long day, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, she not only got a partial refund, but a WHOLE one. So why is that still being thrown in? She has money to go towards any vet bills she may have since he gave her ALL of her money back.

Vet bill, schmet bill... she still has the snake by her OWN choice, and now she's got the money too.

I'm not surprised to find out that LadySerpent is friends with the OP. Now it makes sense that she posted something so silly as that facebook incident.

Ben explained what happened with the snake. He didn't pack it, someone else did and somehow it got overlooked. I would imagine they're pretty busy down there, and yeah, they make mistakes sometimes. You just can't call him a bad guy on this, he did above and beyond for the OP.

I just can't see how anybody could still be griping about this.

Was there an issue with the animal in question? Yes no one has ever denied it however, while most normal people would at least give a chance to the seller she jump the gun by posting publicly on FB and here before even getting a chance to have the matter resolve.

Deceiving someone would be someone shipping out an animal that is either not the right animal or as an issue and not making it right which has not been the case here.

In case you missed it not only does she get to keep the animal but she was also offered a FULL REFUND even after all that.

Actually she only does because she CHOSE to keep the animal even though a shipping label was send to her so she could return the animal back at not charge to her.

So she got a FULL refund and got to keep the animal. She was in no way obligated to keep it she could have just as well decide to return the animal, which in this case most people would have done.

Actually while I do not post here much I just have a hard time sitting here and say nothing when someone goes above and beyond for a customer and his customer and now his customer's friend have nothing better to do than keep whining. :thumbsup:
 
This thread is increasingly becoming repetitive and off topic. Think it's time to uncheck email updates. Shame these threads don't seem to stay the course and deal with the issues and turn into this.

I agree for the most part, but there' usually someone else that gets involved in a thread such as ladyserpent has here that we learn something about. You just have to ignore the crap and pay attention to the details that might be important to you. I've never bought from Ben Siegel, but as a result of this thread I intend to soon.

Agreed... he seems to have been way more than fair to accomodate an unhappy customer and that speaks highly of him in my books. Hopefully if I have a transaction with him I can post a good guy comment about him and watch the "Ben is unamerican and ships sick snakes and didnt respond to my call in an hour and I am impatient to wait so I am going to post a bad guy thread for the world to see only to make myself look like an idiot in the end because I want something for free and am goin to consider my friends to jump on my band-waggon and go along with me" drama unfold. I am unsubscribing to this thread now.
 
Wow!!! I just read through this entire mess and all I have to say is wow!!. Now back to the original story. I have never done business with either Ben or the op, but I have heard numerous good guy stories about Ben and this horror story about the op. Now in my opinion, Ben did a very stand up job in trying to fix the mistake that indeed happened. He fixes the mistake and he is still basically being harassed why?? To me, it does indeed look like the Op is just a greedy person and wants to take advantage of a GOOD GUY.
 
You can tell a lot about people by the company they keep, from LadySerpent's horrible behavior, I'll just put another big star next to that "do not deal with" on both of them.

On Topic: Good on you Ben for considering a military discount in the store. It's not required, and I've never had a serviceperson ever demand a discount yet.

My AFT geckos and OB ball python are all still doing superb, can't wait to do more business with Ben!!

I, too, got an animal from one of Ben's auctions that was not as advertised. The snake had a kinked tail. They asked for pics of this and quickly refunded me the total price of the snake in auction $. I must say that BSR's communication is fantastic. They have always been very helpful with any questions that I have had. Good guy in my book.
