Five animals, all my personal Holdbacks
Each one of these tortoises has some characteristic I was holding back to grow out and add to my collection.
Sometimes, what you're trying to grow out is not readily seen in the hatchlings.
You have to think what will that animals look like in years to come
I liked different shell shapes. I like those High peak tortoises. They were the rarest shell types i came across
I always imagined what they would like when they were older and as adults.
I can just imagine this super high domed or Peaked tortoise, walking around the backyard.
I always imagined he would look like a walking barn.
I only ever saw around 8 really peaked animals so I kept them.
The other trate I held back was Green Eyes. I didn't see many of those either.
after selling thousands of them, I only saw about 30 with green eyes and then only 4 or 5 with Double green eyes
