    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ok 2 reasons for this post, 1 I've seen several references to a VPI line's satin black pastels and from what i gather they are some of the most distinct examples of this morph. To tell the truth i really didn't see any major differences between normals and black pastels until i saw the pictures posted on inlandreptiles.com of the "Satin blacks". But i don't know where to get one, please help?

OK now that my noob moment is all but over the long and short of purpose 2 is this. I plan to blow part of my tax refund on my aspirations to produce panda pieds and so far my het pied girl is gravid and my fingers are crossed. what i need are a pair of gorgeous black pastels and the final question is...

who are the best Black pastel producers and how do i contact them?

i know this is more of an opinion thing then fact but any input would be much appreciated.

Just keep your eyes open and find some that you like. What's the "best" to you may not be the "best" to someone else. Just pick out some that you like. Don't be fooled by the fancy names that some of the big boys put on their animals. Putting a cool name on them doesn't make them any nicer or even any different that the ones everyone else is selling. Sure does seem to inflate their price though. :shrug01:

I agree with the above. I'm not a huge fan of black pastels; but I always said that if were to get one, it would be from Gulf Coast Reptiles. That is the way it worked, too, and I wasn't even in the market for a black pastel at the time. I saw him, wanted him, and purchased him.

And I'm glad I did :thumbsup:

X2... now I know why your black pastel looks like mine (or the other way around) :ack2:
