    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm going to get back into breeding, just wanted to find out the best way to ship.
Is http://www.shipyourreptiles.com/ a good site to use? I don't want to go through the hassle of setting up a fedex account if their prices are close to fedex rates. Also do they allow resident to resident shipping?

Has anyone had problems using their services before? Last thing i want to do is try to ship something, and then have to ship it a day late. Explaining that to a customer would not be a fun experience.

Thanks.

SYR is great! I use them all the time. Reptile Express is another good method. Good luck :)

Customer service is great from both companies and customer service is top notch from both as well.

(Sorry if this should not be discussed here)

Search for both companies on the BOI...

We have a detailed Get Help section at ShipYourReptiles.com, and you can contact us by email or phone with specific questions or needs.

Rates start at 20% less than the FedEx retail.

And yes, can ship to and from residences through the SYR service.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Robyn and radera5 thanks so much. I remember when i was shipping reptiles 4 years ago it was such a huge hassle. To actually have it cheaper than shipping by myself. AND residence to residence just makes life so much easier. I know this is a business, but it makes life so much easier for hobbyist like me.
