    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Thanks ya'll!

I've been bitten probably around 5-10 times thus far but it hasn't happened in the last almost 2 weeks. The majority of the bites came when she first arrived and had a bad shed which required me to assist with and she didn't seem to appreciate it haha. Since then she's been pretty mello, very curious snake...always looking around and checking everything out. As long as you don't wave anything too close in her line of sight she's a sweetie. She's about 3 feet long give or take a couple inches and as wide as a man's thumb at her thickest parts.

That's a great looking little "scrubber"!!

Yep!, it's all about not flashing things in front of it's face for it to "zero in on"..LOL!

With their long set of teeth for penetrating bird feathers, I would certainly hate to get tagged by a 15-20 footer..LOL! :eek:

Thanks ya'll! She's such an awesome little snake, i finally got bit again a couple days ago. She had just shed and i was in there getting the skin and making sure the cage was clean and she got onto a higher position and started playing a little sniper game trying to get my hand. I found it all very amusing.

Here's a few more pics from the last session, i'll try to take some new ones in the next few days, she just ate last night so i don't wanna disturb her until she's digested everything.

Seriously! lol Don't think I'veseen eyes like that on a snake before. Must be awesome in person :) ~

Aru's and scrubs in general have really sick eyes, i love it. When i hold mine i'm just staring at those eyes. Of all the snakes i've had this one has by far the coolest eyes.

It just adds another interesting dynamic to an already neat snake :)

[ I'll never understand why people don't like herps! ] ~
