    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You said you made great progress bringing Dan Costello to justice. Where would anyone find this progress in any of the posts you've made thus far in this thread? Give us all a hint. Is it in the picture on post #5? Is it on the label of the bottle he's holding? I just dont see it.

I certainly don't want to be booted again or for good, but this thread is absolutely ridiculous. Someone has to step in and say something. I wouldn't open my jail to free a pimp to send out to catch his prostitutes. This is exactly whats occurring here. If Ed wants redemption let him start with one bad guy thread about him at a time.

I figured Fauna would have done something about him by now. I know there was a moderator looking into this thread. Because I got a warning for malicious and disruptive off topic posting for saying I was bored with this conversation in the thread. Meaning it was getting old no sense in beating a dead horse. But the actual problem and the reason for the thread obviously wasnt addressed........Hummm?
 
Paul, you've been around long enough to have a bit of a clue about the way things work. The topic of "addressing" these sort of problems (and the reasons for these threads), and the limits of what we will do, has been explained multiple times.
To put it simply, and briefly: We will not be taking action against people that have BOI threads in their name, because we are not taking the role of deciding who is right or wrong. We cannot just ban members that are deemed to be scammers, because of the implication that people posting/contacting others are legitimate & honest. There are other problems & explanations; but to keep this short & not distract from the topic at hand, perceived scammers may sometimes be banned for violations of this site's TOS...but look how many identities Dan already has here. Just shows that it is easy enough to try again.
The best option we have is to keep identifying the new names as they pop up, and make them known. As always, unfortunately, it comes down to Buyer Beware.

I was actually thinking of the same thing you just mentioned after I posted. It has been a while since I actively participated in these forums. But I did vaguely remember a similar situation in the past with some bashing and accusations that nearly turned into a law suit against the BOI / Fauna. Pardon my memory and premature posting! Sometimes you just need a remimnder. Thanks Paul
