    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello, this is quite a different BOI because it isn't really concerning a buy but warning people that the dragon Kate Diaz posted on the bearded dragon part of the classifieds is a scam. The dragon picture she is using belongs to me and was already sold, I and the person it was sold to can validate for that. I also have pictures of recent updates from the person who purchased it from me. He has also confirmed to me that this dragon is still in his care and has not been sold. I have complete proof of the sale of this dragon including the picture I send the buyer on July, 16, 2013. I also more pictures of this dragon.

That really doesn't appear to be the same picture to me. The head is angled far more sharply to the right in your picture, and the tail curves to the right at the base.

In her picture, the tail curves to the left at the base and the head is not turned as sharply. It might be the same dragon, but it's not the same picture IMO.
 
Looks like it might be the same dragon, (due to the back pattern), but not the same pic...

She did just join the forum, and has 2 for sale ads, (one that looks like the OP's sold dragon), and no other posts...Makes one wonder....

Same animal. Different photo than his screenshot, but likely still another photo taken by the OP and copied by the individual we are being warned about. he does not expressly state that the ad photo he posted and the other photo were the same photo, but that the individual is using his photo and that the screenshot is of his ad for the same animal (which is not said to utilize said misappropriated photo).

Anyway, same animal.
 
I put down the picture she used, sorry for not clarifying that in the post. However the buyer was sent the other photo on July, 16, 2013. I will post the message here, my girlfriend is the one who does the talking on Facebook. As you notice the date is marked July, 16, 2013. The second picture is of the dragon when he arrived the day after he arrived to his new home.

No worries. It is easy to see from the markings that the dragon in question was yours and has been sold to a person who is not trying to post it as their own for sale, so the person doing so has misappropriated the photos in order to pull some level of scam. My guess would either be outright non-delivery or bait-and-switch.

That's the image i got when i bought it and thats the image i sold it with. Same dragon as the picture so there was no "scam" intended. The person who started this thread told me to delete my post and i did, then she proceeded to make this false accusation towards me which is affecting my sales.

Hi Kate,
This post is a bit confusing, at least to me, hopefully you can clear it up. So the image you used in your ad was the image you received from the person who sold you the dragon, correct? Who sold you the dragon? Was it the OP of this thread? If not then why would you delete the ad at some random person's request? Which of the accusations of the OP are false or are you stating that everything the OP has said is untrue? I would think that if they are making false claims against you which in turn are hurting your sales you would want to do as much as you can to prove them wrong.

Who purchased the dragon from you? Can you have the seller who sold you the dragon and the buyer who purchased the dragon from you come here and confirm your statements? It would also be great if the person who purchased the dragon from you can post an updated photo here. Looking forward to your response.

Without jumping to conclusions on the legitimacy of the transaction or seller, I think the best thing that can be learned from this is: ALWAYS take a new picture for animals purchased when you go to re-sell them. you never know where the picture provided may have come from if you did not take it yourself.
 
no i sent her paypal for them and she said she couldnt ship because paypal was holding it for like 2 weeks and i checked and paypal said non us and unverified
 
But why did you create a new account to post here, instead of using your other account?

PayPal does sometimes hold payment...but I'm pretty sure that their terms indicate that sellers should still ship. Please post confirmation of the non-US, unverified account.
