Info BEWARE! Lynn's Bearded Dragons!!!

I dont know anything about the issue you are having with Lynn but I will come here and say she is one of the finest caring people in this industry with nothing but friends. I am proud to have her on team Monsters and I personally would trust anything she told me.

I give you my word if you have a sick lizard what ever reason or case she would never knowingly hurt an animal or a customer. Please give her the chance to make it right before you pass judgment because she is a great person who will always go out of her way to make people happy.

This thread is as phony as the 0 dollar bill.
Has anyone tried finding a phone listing for the OP in her stated location? I could not even find the name Rockwell there.
This is one of those times that it is sad threads must be left for posterity.

I couldn't find any Rockwells in the City she names in TX but these are the Keri Rockwells that I could find. These were the only two listings for Keri Rockwell in the U.S.

BOGUS LOAD OF CRAP!!

That expresses my feelings on this subject.

I've seen Lynn at shows for about 3 years and I've seen her animals and talked with her and listened to her talk to her customers. She is top notch and an accusation like this needs to have some evidence before it's thrown out there.

Lynn ALWAYS has beautiful, active, inquisitive, healthy appearing, fat and happy dragons. NO ONE ever has a bad word to say about Lynn that I have heard. Lynn's testing is admirable and it's a shame more people in the industry don't follow her standards. She is highly regarded by her peers and customers.

I would like to know which reptile vet in Dallas you are using...I'd also like to know where the sample was sent for testing. I've sent a two off myself and I have the necropsy reports to prove it. You should be able to get the results, scan them and post them on here without any problem at all. I, for one, would really be interested in seeing your results.

Lynn, hang in there....this is a load of BS IMHO! I'd also like to add that I have NEVER heard anyone say they haven't gotten in touch with Lynn when they called and left a message or sent an email. I know several people who have dealt with Lynn and they have stellar animals to prove it.

Show us your evidence. Post a receipt. Post the Vet bill. Post the results or shut the hell up!

Set up, food, etc.

Keri,
Please tell us what set up you had for your female. I was at the same show and looked at all the enclosures that I saw for sale....which one did you buy for your girl? What substrate? What temps? Lighting?

What did you feed her, specifically what size was the food she ate? Did she bail while you were holding her and smack herself on something or take a leap off the counter or anything like that?

There are a lot of things that can cause runny stools and many others that can cause sudden death. In my knowledge of adenovirus you have signs of illness prior to death. I'm thinking that a dragon that was going to die from Adeno as quickly as yours did would have displayed signs at the show that should have made you decide to pass on that particular animal.

I will personally attest to the fact that I didn't see any s/s of illness in any of Lynn's dragons at the show you reference. She had a tub with a few "scratches and dents" that were marked way, way down but they appeared fat and happy even with their little dings.

Another thing I'd like to know....you quoted the word "kills" could Lynn have said "culls" and you thought she said "kills" It really doesn't sound like something Lynn would say that she does....killing a dragon....as opposed to culling a dragon for testing. Basic meaning might lead to the same place but from my experience in talking to Lynn, I find it difficult to believe that she said she "kills" one be that talking to her peers or potential customers.

I found a Keri Rockwell in Texas, does this lady look familiar to you?

Well this is great.. Now I have past customers calling me to see if their dragons are sick..The feeding frenzy begins. Keri's post has no fact but some of my customers are scared.. I do not blame them . All I can do is say I stand behind my lizards and reasure them (2 people have called and both have had their babies over a year].. The sad thing is in my 10 plus years of breeding I can count the number of dragons I have had to replace on one hand..Their passing was do to people not doing what I ask.. Feeding mealworms, to big of a food item, wrong substrate or just wrong size cages and temps..
Keri PLEASE PLEASE CALL ME 972-254-6124

I am not sure..I talk to so many people at reptile and bird shows
I still have not heard anything from Keri.. I wish she would call me as this is tearing me up.:(

Lynn,

First, I am so sorry that you have to go through this, it is terrible. I have heard of your reputation for a long time, and you have some of the best dragons on the market. Your decision to test the way you do is very admirable, don't let anyone ever make you feel differently.
I checked out the website where the picture was found, and there is a phone number listed for Bob Rockwell there. Maybe you can give them a call to see if that is them? It could at least give you a bit of closure if it is not, and I would personally just blow this off as some jerk who feels the need to bash on someone for no real reason.
Don't let this get you down too bad. If it is a real claim that the dragon died, I have a big feeling that something else is happening besides adeno, especially since you test so well. As others pointed out, there are other factors here that have not been answered, such as setup and diet before death.
I hope it helps, and good luck from a fellow lover and breeder of dragons!

I suggest to ANYONE calling Lynn to Hold off, and LOOK at this thread with a skeptical eye. First off the IP was found to be in france, and while a proxy might be being used, it is unlikely, IMHO. I smell troll, and i smelled it the first post it made.

I call user error, even if this person did buy a dragon from a show, and just honestly did not know what to do to take care of it.

I dont know why i said proxy unlikely. I meant it, more... a real person posting about a problem, would not use a proxy. and that they would unlikely use a proxy to make this kind of post.

Hello,

I've know Lynn for a very long time. She is one of the nicest people I've ever meet. I've also been to her home on many occasions to pick up crickets when I had dragons and geckos. Her reptile room is one of best setups I've ever seen and is always clean.

Lynn, This person stated that you told her this not that you were speaking to another breeder. It sounds like some peta thumping nut that was listening to your conversation. Unless, the other vendor bought this dragon.

After strolling around the show, I came back to her table to ask her more questions about it. I asked her if she had any health problems with her stock (she does have nice dragons) and she told me she tests 1 baby from every clutch for virus. I said really? How do you do that? She said she "kills" one and sends it to a vet she knows and has it tested for virus. She said, "knock on wood" I haven't had a problem yet.
Lynn said:
Now I did discuss that with another vendor , but that is something I generally do not tell the public because they slam you for stuff like that ( now everyone knows..)
Regardless, this person isn't making a real claim. I have to agree some game is being played. It was a one post wonder looking at trying to hurt your business. I say let it drop to the bottom. Those that have had wonderful transactions with Lynn, pick a good gal thread and bring to the top.

Lynn

I've shopped at Lynn's table and purchased dragons from Lynn personally and always been pleased with her stock- all this sounds fishy to me. I stopped at her table and considered purchasing more dragons from her at the very same show in question concerning this thread. The subsequent absence of postings from the original poster of this thread makes this seem more petty and personal than anything. Looks like someone made an account to post one posting and that's the end of it. Lynn loves her dragons, and sacrifices the ultimate to make sure batches are healthy- all of this sounds like blown smoke to me. You've held up to your end Lynn; take it with a grain of salt and let it go. BTW- tell Sprocket the lesser platty ROCKS! :) -Eric Lago

Well Keri, looks like you've done the opposite of your original intentions. By putting your empty accusations here on the BOI without any follow up whatsoever you have given the rest of us a chance to learn just how incredibly wonderful Lynn really is if we didn't already know it!!!!

If I was in the market for a beardie I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from Lynn, the fact that she works hard to prevent disease from hitting her colony is only the act of someone that is sincerely hoping to keep a healthy group.

Thanks Eric and to everyone else that has my back .. You all have touched my heart.. :yesnod:

Lynn is one of the best

If everyone that sold live animals were like Lynn there would be no need for a BOI, she is a top shelf breeder and a great person to boot.

I would not hesitate to buy an animal from Lynn and have seen her table at shows all over Texas and OK for two years now as a fellow vendor as well as visiting her facility and seeing the incredible amount of attention and care she gives her animals.

Sorry I did not hear about the initial post sooner but it is not worth the time it took to read it.

Well years later and you do a search on me and this post comes up first. Breaks my heart.. This post is false. The person who posted this never came back or got a hold of me because there is no such person but years later I am still paying for this post that can not be removed. I no longer breed dragons but am breeding roaches. A lady did a search and found this post as it pops up in the search first thing. Lucky for me she called me and bought roaches . She realized I am not a bad person with bad animals and did business with me. I wonder how many people have seen this post and has not done business with me.. I am broken hearted that a lie is being allowed to remain on the internet. I know the BOI has done good things but this is a bad thing and has hurt me in the heart and my pocketbook.
For people that are reading this please do not judge this book by the cover. Nothing more can be said as the damage is already done and is still happening 5 years later.

Lynn, all I can say is anyone with half a brain can look at this thread and realize you are one of the good guys. I do not know you from Adam, I am nowhere near you location wise, but reading this thread, if I ever had the chance I would not hesitate to buy anything from you. People that read the BOI do so to find out about potential sellers, and its evident in the first page that you are a phenomenal seller. I hope it works out for you.
