In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

after some months with no internet access and coming back to fauna. I have been catching up on many things I missed. Seller, I think you seem very professional, OP..I wouldn't sell or BUY even a tube of glue from you. I keep ball pythons and I would never be able to trust that you weren't lying. I personally do NOT believe those snakes are the same one. I have had many that have had almost the exact same facial markings on the side of the head. To me that head shot in no way shows this snake is indeed the one you were sent. What is so hard about finding someone to properly hold the body at an angle where we can see its back and all its markings while you open its mouth? I also believe that you were sent exactly what you paid for, a female black pastel, who to me is a gorgeous snake. Seller, I am a ball python lover through and through and next time i'm in the market for some lovely snakes I will definitely be contacting you! Buyer you proved yourself to not have a clue how to pop snakes, actually forcing what appears to be scent glands out? Seriously that would have taken an incredible amount of pressure to expel those. You just had to "prove" you were right so badly that you were positive that poor snake was a male that when no hemipenes appeared you just..kept going...

Honestly....all snakes would be better if you just got out of the business and GAVE them to someone that would care for them properly. I had a snake come in with RI years ago. guess what? I took care of it and nursed it back to health. I didn't lie about it, i didn't call names. sometimes things happen that you cannot control. it's no reason to lose your mind. also the crap about "only a 100 dollar snake" burns me. Even my 50 dollar and less normals i treat as if they are worth thousands to me because. simply. I love them. they are amazing, beautiful creatures. ALL of them. and NONE deserve to be treated as if they aren't precious. your attitude just because you claim you are "rich" is appalling to say the least. Treat your animals and buyers/sellers better. Don't try to get something for nothing. Don't try to get something more than what you were owed. and for god's sake learn how to pop snakes and how to properly care for them. My entire gut feeling is this. You found one of your own snakes. sick in your collection and decided to try and use that animal to get money back that you are not entitled to.

and yes im aware this is not a new thread. XD it made me so mad i had to comment however

This was an infuriating read. If you're not going to cooperate when people ask questions then you have no business coming here.

This folks, is what we call a "sore winner," somehow got what he wanted at someone else's expense but still wasn't happy about it (it should be telling by the way he kept bringing up political figures).

Ultimately, he actually created POSITIVE advertisement for Canyon Country, so despite what a nasty and infantile personality he sports, Jessica will benefit in the long run by remaining calm and professional.

And no, I'm not her friend. I have no idea who she is, I don't do pythons. All I know is what was presented in this thread.

As I read the BOI I am learning things to incorporate into my future business dealings. One of those things will be clear, full body photos of all snakes, and especially of any specific identifying marks. With my chosen species this will be very easy to do, but it will work for a wide range of reptiles. Doing so will go a great deal toward protecting yourself from scammed. I'm also building my TOS as I learn more so that it will be fully formed and cover a broad range of scenarios before I am ever ready to use it.

Told Jessica, I am really glad that PayPal refunded this person from THEIR account and not yours. Presumably this has something to do with their seller protection, but what it says to me is that you made a clear case that you were not in the wrong, otherwise you would have lost the money. I hope you don't have to deal with anyone like this again.

Yes!

:iagree:

It was absolutely infuriating to read it, but I was so glad. The buyer actually had a snake on morph market that I became interested in, and thank goodness this board exists. I don't even care if the snake would have been fine, I care that I would've dealt with a shady person.

Thank you to whomever came up with this!

Wow ! This was the most ignorant thread ever started. The contradictions and I'll advised facts that the OP consistently typed was astounding
Canyon County Reptikew GOOD GUY
Morph Market Bad Guy X

Morph Market didn't do anything, that was the venue where Canyon County had listed the animal for sale.
