    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info BEWARE of EdHardy

I actually PM'd this user(Fat Cobra) asking if he truly had the alligator for sale because I had been scammed for 145.00 by someone named Dan Costello. I never got a reply and I guarantee you that if someone had been scamming through thread I would be kind enough to reply back and say "Hey it wasn't me" but nope I got no response.
 
So it is just another alias. Have you heard from the authorities? It seems to me that there is enough evidence to arrest him on fraud charges.
 
Don't be so quick to assume it is an alias of Dan's. As I have already pointed out, there are a few vague similarities to his accounts; but nothing that isn't shared by numerous legitimate people...and not enough to convince me that it is him. Besides, it is sort of difficult for fat cobra to respond to a PM before logging in to the site to get it.
 
No I haven't heard back from the PA police. I will call again in the morning if I haven't heard from them. I actually pm'd them the same evening I sent the money to dan because I had a bad feeling after he never sent anything back after he got the money. I would hope that if they had something on here for sale they would check it everyday or so. Like I said before the other person that responded to that thread also had someone(I'm guessing Dan) contact him wanting him to send a Western union too. He didn't ever put his e-mail addrss up anywhere.
