    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just want to voice a complaint against Island Reptiles in Florida. They advertised a w/c female cornsnake for sale on Kingsnake.com. Originally the snake was about 60.00 plus shipping, as time went on and noone was interested in the animal the price eventually came down to $35 shipped. I immediately paid for the animal via USPS Money order as requested and was promised shipping for the next 2-3 weeks. This was around the time of the quadruple hurricanes in Florida, so granted, there could have been some legitimate delays in shipping. Because I paid so promptly and waited so long for shipping Island Reptiles in Florida offered to send me both the w/c female cornsnake and an additional snake, a taiwan beauty snake. When finally shipped, all that was sent to me was the Taiwan Beauty snake (which I really wasn't all that interested in). The gentleman emailing me promised that he would get me taken care of and send me a breeding size corn (like the one I originally paid for). I have emailed him a few times since and not received a reply, thus this post. It's just a, uh, observation but I noticed that this guy does not accept paypal and I have to wonder why? Perhaps Paypal has his acct. locked up because of past deals gone bad? Okay I've said my $35.00 worth. I also posted this on Kingsnake.com in the Corns classified sect. and have gotten back about 8 replies from people with similarly bad experiences. All I have to say is I don't recommend doing business with this company.
