In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Beware of Jeane Best & Wendy Childs

I wouldn't call it stupid either. I've had plenty of boxes sent to me with the styro cut just like that and none were ever DOA. I personally use a small screwdriver and punch holes through the cardboard and styro in each of the top corners of the box. My husband does the same thing, has for probably 20 years and never a DOA.

I too use a screwdriver to poke holes in the styro. I too have been doing so for almost 20 years.

There was nothing that would put me off about that packing job. It could have used more paper, though more may have been removed prior to pictures being taken, but that's the only thing that I could see using any improvment at all.

I think you go a little far in saying it was really stupid.

There were no heat or cold packs. There was no need to keep it sealed. There was NO expectation of exposure to, and indeed had wendy or her mother did as they should have and met the driver at the door, extreme heat.

Those holes, when covered by the cardboard and that cardboard being sealed with tape, would not, in the few hours the geckos were inside, have contributed to the demise of any who may have died.

I won't argue that the holes cut into the were or were not a factor. In my opinion the insulation should have been in tact regardless of a heat/cool pack being used. We use insulated boxes to ship reptiles for a reason. I personally do not like to see shipping practices that do not meet my standards, and that was all I was commenting on.

When one's opinion is offered as a statement of fact, one should not be surprised when one's opinion is refuted.

Why again are you posting for wendy?

I missed it orginally but what were the advertised weights? And do you really think that we believe that gecko had no weight?

Honestly it looks like a small juvenile ciliatus to me. I am basing that on the size of the fingers/nails in the photos, not the scale reading. The caved in appearance of the body is due to the fact that the gecko is deceased, that is what happens. How very, very sad, what a gorgeous gecko.

The driver I had To MEET to get the animals is my witness that they were dead when I opened the box there at the road side.. She said she knocked once. Didnt ring the bell. Didnt knock again. Left the note and drove off. She said had she know it was "live" she would have dumped it at the door like she always does. Sig or no sig. I explained to her that we can not hear a knock in our home if we are even in the next room. The doors are a solid oak. And the house is huge. I was standing in the kitchen with Jeane. We both saw the truck pull off and she heard it is why she looked up and pointed. Thats how I was able to call in 2 min. She drove off the other way. The drive is about 150 yards from the door. No way for me to catch her.

We heard her truck pulling out. By the time I got through to the call center who got to the driver and got her to meet me, she was clear up at Mt. Spokane ski lodge. 32 miles away.

I called the call center at 9:34, thats logged. She scanned it as no anser at 9:32.

You will see from the pics that these animals dont even register on a .000 gram scale. All but one doesnt. One weights .001. That is TOO SMALL TO SHIP. Death sentece. Period. No "LIVE" marking at all on the box. No COOL pack as stated in the guarrantee and terms.

I really have to go to bed. Hope the pics help. Thank you for poting them for me.

It would be helpful to see photos of the surviving animals. Not necessarily on a scale, but perhaps with the hand in the photo for size reference.

I thought you had "won cresties" betting that your ups MAN would not stop for a sig.

Now your driver, the one you've NEVER SIGNED anything for in two years, is a woman.

Do you know what a sieve is? It may be spelled sieve though I think not. Look it up.

That is what your story is.

YOU messed up.

YOU killed that gecko.

YOU deserve nothing in return for having killed that gecko.

I just sent those live ones to her. They are Really shinny and very small. The rest of the death pics that are cropped showed Yellow poops. Telling me they were dehydrated also. And i didnt mention that all the papers were wet in the delis. That causes extreme humidity in heat......

She should be posting them soon. She is posting them because I dont know how and she offered. I dont know her and have never sold or bought from her.

Most are the size of my nails as you see and thats only 3/4 of an inch. Should I bust out a tape measurer too? They dont register any weight. Only one does..001 in fact same as my 5 day old hatchlings. In size and in weight.

You might want to have your gram scale calibrated. Or maybe make sure it is set to gram and not kg, or oz. I have a juvie crested that is about the same size (from what I can tell by the pics) and it weighs in at 8 grams. Is that a K-Mart scale or a Weight Watchers scale that you are using?

Waterver you say Wes. SHE who was the driver today said that she runs this route 2 days a week, and says that she has left them on our door before even without a sig because it said "live". What part of that didnt you get?

8 grams PLEASE. An 8 gram crested is almost the size of one of my fingers in length. You are one sided to this you freak harrasser. No one needs to hear from your sick twisted mind. That scale cost $85.00 and no one who buys from me has a problem with me weighing mine on there.

Only the part where YOU said your driver, for the last two years, was a man.

Same thing as a woman. IF you're a nutjob. Who is it that is saying they're the same? wendy?

could you, nutjob, be so kind as to weigh a nickle on your scale?

thank you ever so much

now, would you post a pic of that?

Looks like the point is that you knew of the UPS problems with drop and run and your butt should have been outside waiting by the street to prevent this so called drop and run from happening on this day.Stop trying to pass the buck and admit that this is your fault and not anyone elses. Its your problem and no one elses. You missed the truck for the first attempt. It would be a different story if you had been there for this first attempt and had DOA, but that is not the case.

Eric you just posted and PROVED that we had conversations about shipping through someone else. Now if you would put it in order. A minute ago you claimed you knew nothing of my concerns with UPS. So where did you get that email????

I have one now of a nickle AND THE GECKO both on it. say .005..... want it shoot me your email I will gladly send it. I dont know how to post it here,
Also our dilvery driver 4 days of the week is a male. 2 days is a female. I never knew till today we had a female driver ever.

You should have bought yourself a cheaper scale, seems that you don't know how to work that $85 one. A nickel weighs 5 grams not .005 grams. What weight measurement are you using?
