Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Beware of Jeffery Lockman/John Pennington

Lucille and Julia, both of your names constantly appear in BOI arguments. You both involve yourselves in things just to keep an argument going. If there is no argument then you create one. Are you in high school with free time or do you stay at home and have nothign else to do? I do reputable deals and have never had problems with anyone. That can be validated by numerous people. I'm not attacking a member on here that would be the two of you.

:iagree: like I said before his every move is classic and predictable. The more he posts the more the lies pile up. I hope every potential employer reads the thread. If they do I'm pretty sure he's going to have a heck of a time find a job in the future.
 
This thread is about you, john pennington / Jeffery or Jeffrey lockman, not Lucille or I so I'm not going to play your game and answer your attempts at insulting me. You are the one in the hot seat that was just proven over and over to be a liar. Maybe if you start telling the truth you'll be able to save a tiny piece of your dignity.
 
Professionals do not review threads such as this when hiring as they are full of garbage just as this thread and all the others you have tried to fuel. I guarantee this is not the only site or thread you follow and comment. I'm sure there are numerous other sites you try to add fuel to as well. As I have said, to much time on your hands plain and simple. You post so many things of course your moves are classic and predictable. I have not lied and I don't have time to play all day with stuff like this.

So where are the numerous people? Not one has stood up for you here. How embarrassing for you.
As far as participation, that is what makes the BOI the powerful tool against scammers that it is.

However, readers should not lose track of what this poster is doing, which is instigating to get the (considerable) heat off himself.
 
No BOI threads are for people to alert others about bad situations/deals. Not for people like you who have nothing better to do than follow each and every thread to add fuel and instigate. If people believe what they read initially fine if not that is fine to. It is up to the buyer just like any review process.
I for one am not a scammer. Did I take money? No. Did I sell a misrepresented or broken item? No. That word is not applicable in this situation.

I have apologized to Stu for whatever happened. End of story.
 
If you the same problem with a seller and/or buyer then I see no reason why you should not comment and let people know they are not alone. If you have no interest or prior dealing with the person then read, make a mental note of the situation, and move on. Most people use these threads for the appropriate reasons and not the inappropriate ones that some here do which is add fuel to a fire they have no business in or creating.
 
I agree with you Colin, as you are absolutely correct. I was unaware of the post until recently. Had I known then I would have cleared it up with Stu at that time. But I did apologized to Stu. A few people like to fuel these threads and respectful people know and see that when a pattern is established such as the one they have.

While I would not completely rule out a mental handicap in John's case, his posts of denial are the only things he can resort to (well, that and flaccid attempts at mimicking a threat of legal action) since he has been exposed for lying about several things now.

Something to be sure to take note of is that - and I am sure many already have - after Stu said he sent the refund to John at [email protected], the response from the [email protected] account acknowledged receipt and then went into the $7 difference argument. They are tied together.

It is interesting how John has repeatedly cornered himself and basically covered his eyes and denied there were walls to the room each time. One could view it as almost like him subconsciously wanting to get caught, but I tend to view it as a simple consequence of ineptitude.
 
Again, Nick is one of the people who post almost exclusively to BOI threads which he has no business in. You get a handful of these people on every site regardless of the topic. Nothing but time on their hands and they love drama. Hence the reason to fuel it. I did not send the emails plain and simple.

This is incorrect. Hiring team members for top companies often run searches via Google as well as on social media networks to get a feel for candidates well before the person even arrives in order to gauge their ability to handle themselves as members of a group. Hate speech, aggressive behavior, dishonesty (your ears might be burning), and more are all things teams want to know just in case someone wears a full mask for the panel member evaluation gauntlet. Companies need to be able to trust their employees to an extent. A poor hire is a more expensive hire over time. While I do not know about the positions you might aspire to (I have only experienced this directly in the first-ranked and second-ranked companies in my primary industry), this is pretty broadly done across a number of company types.

I suspect that was at least part of the impetus for your amusing emails to WebSlave, too.
 
Nickolas, companies will search social media and conduct google searches of individuals. I have been involved in that process numerous times. However, sites such as this, topix, and the various others are just as valid as Wikipedia. If it is your social media profile then you own it and it can become a factor. If it is your blog, website, etc then you are correct. Anyone can post anything about another person using sites such as these. So these kind of sites have no reliability much less validity. To many people have to much time on their hands. It is apparent these are several on this thread alone.

1) You are responding plenty and with no substance as opposed to myself and several others who have posted evidence. Since several people have posted evidence and you have posted none, your "nothing but time on on their hands" assertion is the pot calling the kettle black.

2) I am a moderator here as well as an active site member in several other capacities. It is my role on at least two levels to have a sustained and/or frequent presence.

3) You sent those emails. That has already been shown. Repeatedly. Whether you were working with your friend or whether you posed as him is secondary at this point. Since the communication stream indicates continuity between actions through the two email accounts you were using, I would guess the latter may be more likely than the former.

Denial again, I see.

We search everything that shows up within a reasonable amount of digging. What we pay special attention to is what candidates say. Not so much what is said about candidates in a vacuum. If you were found to have been caught lying about various things - such as in this case, for example - it would not reflect well on your probability of progression.

You seem to only have time on your hands. Several others on this thread, but not you, are bearing gifts in theirs.

Unlike other sites, however, this site requires one to post a real name, and location, so what one says is not anonymous.
Readers weigh evidence, the manner in which something is posted, the reputations and histories of the parties involved, and come to their own conclusions about who to believe.

There are people who have come to this site as unknowns, and by their insults of participants, by their demeanors, their falsehoods, their empty legal threats toward others, their inability to grasp that their words are here permanently, have put a noose around their own neck.
 
Have the admins done an ID check on John/Jeff? Also has anyone notified Jeff Lockwood of this thread since his name is on it, misspelled or not, it's still close enough. John must be delusional if he thinks anyone is going to believe that he didn't send those messages. As Lucille said, John tied the noose and then leapt out of the tree. I gotta hand it to him, I haven't seen anyone put on such a dramatic show on here in some time. It's hilarious that he made a few comments about everyone else being uneducated when he can't even comprehend that his bubble has been popped and he's been caught out by many people in his pathetic rediculous lies. I know 3 year Olds that have told more convincing lies. Come on John, give it up already, stop deflecting (or trying to, you have failed at that so far too), and more importantly stop lying and be honest. You really don't have much face left to save but if you want to have even the smallest chance of it the only way is to be humble and completely honest.
