    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Beware of Jerry Kruse

It seems Jerry has a whole lot more to worry about these days than taking those pictures he promised to post. I wouldn't hold your breath waiting to see those animals Wes. Just saying.....
 
He's in deep doo doo with USFW. Myself and many others have been visited and questioned by agents this past week regarding his illegal activities. I'm not blowing their cover, as the word has been out about this for a week now. Do people still twiddle their thumbs? I thought that went out 8 track tapes. : )
 
Well I was visited as well by law enforcement. I have nothing to hide and have very good records of all of my snakes since the day I got each of them. The officers were very nice and proffessional and I invited them into my home. I was very angry soon after they left ( not at law officers but at Jerry, law enforcement are doing their job) because of the invasion of privacy he has caused many, many people. While being questioned I missed getting my kid off of the school bus for the first time in her life and she missed her gymnastics class. May seem like not a big deal to some but it is important to me. That pissess me off, but again, not the fault of officers, but of the root cause of the investigation. I have had time to cool off and reflect. I honestly feel sorry for all that had to be incovienenced by this investigation and have their privacy invaded for having socialized at one time or another with Jerry, but most of all I actually feel sorry for Jerry's family and the hell he must have caused them. It is amazing how the selfish and unlawful acts of someone can so profoundly affect others. I am sure time will tell of the charges he is facing and I have only heard rumors, so I will not speak of that.

The agent that conacted me was very courteous and professional as well. I also agree with Joe that I was very disturbed because I had to take time out of my life because I have had some limited contact with Mr. Kruse a few years back. I have nothing to hide either. I won't speak on what I was told during the interview, but holy crap! If Stu knew the half of it before doing business with Mr. Kruse, he would have NEVER bought those snakes in the first place. Has anyone noticed that Jerry's website is wiped out all except for the home page?
 
Hate to bring up an old thread, but has anyone heard/dealt with him recently? I posted on a FB classifieds page looking for Andean Milks. He made a post stating he'd have "Inca" phase (a hypo-like version) and hets in '14. I was pretty geeked; I haven't seen these in many years. After a bit to reflect I knew that name rang a bell...So I searched him here and got 89 pages of this :(
 
Hi Chris. I can't comment on what Mr. Kruse is up to. Regarding your quest for some fantastic triangulum, however, I suggest you contact Stu Tennyson, the gentleman who started this thread. I believe he may have what you are after. Stu is a great guy and breeder. I couldn't give anyone a higher recommendation.
 
I've talked to Stu previously, and also Scott Ballard and Dave Niles today who both work with what I'm looking for. Glad as always for the BOI, and I think I know the right way to acquire some of these. Chris

Well, he hasn't been on FB in a few months. A couple of years ago, he posted a picture of one of those baby anery zonata on FB and said it was one of those ones Stu sent back. I matched it up to one of the zonata Stu posted here and am 99% sure it was the same snake all healed up, at least visually. He said they never had Z disease and his reputation was ruined for nothing. I told him he should come back and post the pictures, but I guess he never did.
 
I just found out what happened to Jerry. He never deleted his FB account, but here's what he posted on July 14th.

"I've spent far too many hours cleaning snake cages and making some poor decisions over the years. I've always believed it takes a real man to admit things like this, and that it's never too late to change things in one's life. I've been humbled by many things in the last decade, but nothing more than the look in my children's eyes when they are happy or sad; and that is how I intend to live the rest of my days to the best of my ability.
As part of this, I was further humbled by a video my daughter shared recently about disconnecting from "social" media which is anything but social. As of today, I intend to listen to her message and unplug myself from the need to be "liked" or "followed". I will share my telephone number privately with those who I'd like to keep in-touch and truly be social with. For all others, it's been a fun ride and I will miss some things -- but I have a much larger job to do in this world. So, I dedicate this last Facebook message to my daughter; she has taught me so many things in her short 15 years of life that has taken me a lifetime to finally understand.
Brandee, the love of my life and everything I've ever wanted in a daughter, Daddy is going to "look up" as of today and will never take his eyes off of you or your brother again. I love you both with all my heart, and when you eventually read this message you'll know what I'm talking about. You're the most important thing in my life, and always will be...

it was/is jerrys mouth, attitude, and the fact he sold diseased snakes for an inflated price then refused to refund the guy! that ruined his reputation its all right here in this thread. jerry did that all by himself:shootfoot he should be ashamed and try to make amends.
 
It's an old ploy of his. Poor me, it wasn't my fault, I didn't do it and if I did it wasn't my fault. Use it to grow your roses, but it has no other value. He was being investigated for robbing nest sites of pines in the Jersey Barrens, he admitted to poaching and smuggling and was just in general a real crud of a guy.

My guess is it finally got to hot in the kitchen for him so he's using his kids, which if I recall correctly someone here told him several years ago might be significant when they found out what kind of person he really was, to try to excuse his criminal behavior.

He hasn't changed. He's still a crook, smuggler and poacher. He's still a liar and a bully.

Seriously, of course children are the most important thing in our lives. But even so, having an epiphany that your children are important doesn't mean you turn your back on problems you've created and walk away from them.
Quite the contrary, if you want to be a role model for your children, you can show them that life is difficult, mistakes are made, but the way out is through reparations to those you have harmed.
