I'm happy to report I received the remainder of my refund in todays mail! $800 in the form of a bank check I can deposit now and $843.80 in a personal check post dated for April 13 which includes my PayPal fee reimbursement! Thanks for coming through Jerry! Maybe now eveyone can back off a little.

I think most of us will back off till we hear news of the personal check. I wouldn't draw any funds depending on that deposit until I knew from the bank that it cleared.

I am glad you (sort-of) got your money back. I hope, however, that you don't forget the myriad of things Jerry's done wrong just because you got financial relief.

It's taken him nearly 4 months, he's insulted you, me, and everybody else in this thread, he's given his 'word' and broken it, he's lied, he's dodged, he's deflected..........

I'd really like to see pictures of these 'faring much better' snakes. I'd like to see/ hear more from Mjay. I'd like for him to EXPLAIN his behavior and thought processes instead of acting the way he has. Through all the left turns this thread has taken, he's never taken this seriously or offered the slightest concern for customer service.

I can't believe how 'easy' he's gotten it, so far.....

I have not seen these particular snakes in person. But I have seen Jerry's collection in person. That said, I would have to say that I have not seen any indication of a single unhealthy animal. Things happen and it's puzzling as to what the cause is/was. Cooler heads prevail.

If the snakes are healthy there should be no problem updating their status if Jerry has nothing to hide. In fact, I'd think he would insist on providing pictures and info to back his claims.
This is a big thread, and a tight zonata community. I think that potential customers doing a BOI search and reading the thread will have a lot to consider.

The animals are no longer at his facility and no other snakes have shown signs. There were a couple other Z keepers that said they had animals develop it and were removed with no other animals being affected. I think anyone that wants to keep zonata should know that it is not uncommon at all. That should not be a reason to not buy Zonata from someone. Stu was refunded, what else is there to say? It wasn't done in the way/time people think it should have been done. that's just a bunch of useless opinions. There was no guarantee on the animals and he still got a refund, that says Jerry was a good guy to Stu.
I plan on getting some zonatas from a person on here that said they had ZD pop up in their collections. The "infected" animals were removed and all else is good. It is a risk that comes with the territory, Stu found that out and was refunded. Personal agendas aside, it was a good guy ending.

If Stu didn't bring Jerry onto the BOI, there's no doubt in my mind that Stu wouldn't get a cent back and Jerry would continue his way of business (Krusing people out of their $$$). A good guy ending wouldn't require 60+ pages of posts, 40k+ of views, lying, spinning the truth, name calling, etc.... It's sad to see it took this much effort to get the right thing done. It's people like Jerry Kruse that brings a black eye to the reptile community.

There were many opinions offered about this deal, how it went down, what could have been done to make it better. People put time and thought into their posts, and those posts will be read and considered by possible future buyers who will then make up their mind about whether they want to do business with Jerry.

Actually, despite the date, Stu hasn't really been refunded, yet - Jerry split the "last" payment into two checks, one of which is post dated for the middle of this month.

Have you failed to notice that two people lost posting privileges for a few days because they wouldn't stop the off topic antagonism (which led to a second statement from the moderation team)? Continuing to drag that into the discussion isn't a particularly bright move

Of course Rich is correct. The BOI didn't attack anyone. A member typed some thoughts. Regardless, you are still wrong. Nothing that member wrote "attacked" the family. Wes posted on the character of the target of this thread and what his family could potentially read one day about him. Nothing in that post attacked his son or any other member of his family. Try reading it again and comprehending.

I was asking if that was one of the insights being defended in that post. It's called a example not a attack on your site. No deflecting needed, I learned some stuff from this but there is so much more useless crap.

Thick headed? I answered a response with a example. My original post was not irrelevant.
